Best age ever! I've had a litter of 5 kittens for about 2 weeks and their personalities are coming out! They're 6 weeks old and they'll find any spot to hide and sleep for the first 1-3 weeks in a new home. The younger the better! Older cats tend to take more time to adjusting but the same amount of reward! Also Simba is a cute name 🤗

I enjoyed this so much. You are such a sweet young lady and you and Simba with have a lifetime of love together. I am a senior citizen and I live together with my oldest daughter and family and two dogs. My doxie,Barnabas who is 13 years old and my grandson's service dog Hannibal, a border collie/lab mix who is wonderful. I grew up with and always had cats when my family was young. I haven't had one in many years and would love one now, but I don't think my old dog would appreciate the intrusion! So, watching you and Simba did my heart good!! Thanks you!

I just got an 8 week old kitten too! They are the best! One thing you need to be careful about it ya know the strings that you pull to open and close your blinds? I had to tie mine up high because my kitten could reach those strings (especially if they are one long loop) the kitten can get tangled up and accidentally hang themselves by those strings. Even if they’re separated with wooden balls on the ends they can easily get those twisted around and strangle themselves so I just wanted you to be aware of that and if you have any of those on your other blinds just make sure they’re tucked up orOut of the way so that they can’t harn themselves. My little kitten was playing with a bunch of ribbons that we’re hanging out of my ribbon box in my craft room and one of the skinnier ribbons she got wrapped around her neck but thank goodness I was there to untie it it and since have put the box up. Cats are so curious and it just got to be extra careful. (I hope this message isn’t coming off like I am some know it all or that i’m critiquing you at all because I’m not I hopefully don’t you hope you don’t think that I’m being rude at all I just am saying this for those who read it and maybe haven’t thought of that m. We just to keep our kitties all safe. ❤️) OH! And another thing I’ve noticed was underneath my bathroom cupboard that my sink sits on there’s a space about two or 3 inches underneath where my cat can climb in and there’s a that little space between the bottom of the cupboard (inside) and the floor so I had to shove rags up there. I don’t know if that’s just my house or if most bathroom vanities are built like that but you might want to check. Anyways you seem like a darling mommy to your new kitten and congratulations for both of you!!

He's a cute little guy. I would suggest if you go out, to take off his collar so he doesn't strangle himself. It looks a little big in him. My cat got her collar stuck on herself and couldn't break free. Luckily I was home and got it off her quickly. From that day, she never liked wearing it and I of course never put a collar on her again.
@@prasunkumar1125 kittens dont need collars because they dont go out until 6months old! When their older they can wear a collar! Tiny kittens with collars to big for them could get caught on something,.its dangerous for them especially if it doesnt fit properly.
M McPherson did it go well? Some people told me that 8 weeks is too young to adopt and that the kitten can play too harshly, using their claws and teeth too much. I’m scared of behavioral issues
@@Chi.Lyn_ it went very well ! and the warm up to you pretty fast but the scratching and biting may be too much for some people, but you have to teach them young so they don't have behavioral issues as an adult.

that's sounds incredibly stupid tbf. you need to collar your pet if it spends time outside. wouldn't want people to confuse it with a stray/feral.
