The jinni part made me realize something. They screwed the pooch by not bringing back desert mirages, in the fucking game called "Mirage". Or at least none that I've seen.

Yeah but valhalla also had tons of different dlc and expansions, but mirage will have nothing in terms of actual content.
Very happy they listened and are adding a new game plus, It's a perfect addition for Mirage. I really hope Bordeaux gets to make more games like this down the line because their passion and love for the franchise is obvious!

I have beat every quest so it's very disappointing but I'm glad I finished it all. It should get a NG+ though so I can play it completely with all the gear I grinded for and upgraded.

I got 100% in Mirage a few days ago and I gotta say loved the entire game! There were a few things that I felt were lacking (Tales of Baghdad) just in some areas but with the contracts I do wish there was a lot more of them for post-game content
I got upset when they didn’t create a continuous system for players wanting to just play again
@@christiansolerti5640 Yeah. Honestly I do wish that some of the other collectibles that we obtained around the map had more of a reward. And I get that this game was originally planned as DLC for Valhalla but the lack of a modern day playable section felt off especially since they're changing the year to 2090
Game was ass. Climbing sucks, combat is stiff and unresponsive, and the voice acting is mid. Currently playing Origins to wash this lazy DLC out my mouth

@@juanisidro4849 overall the combat is very good. I very much enjoyed it and the difficulty with managing the enemies was also nice. However I do miss dual assassinations like in Unity since Arno also had one hidden blade
A welcomed surprise. This is a stretch but new outfits, dyes weapons would be nice for NG+ loot as well. At the very least, this is more than I expected from Ubisoft lol.

That was a bogus excuse, their company is going under so they decided to put effort in a new game instead of keeping their word. Ubi has lost their core values and is now going under for it.
The support for Valhalla has ended, we ain't getting it...

I would love to be able to explore Alamut after completing the game. And we need more legacy outfits (as in all of the assassin outfits from previous games).

For Odyssey they gave you an outfit called The Origins after completing the Korfu quest line, which serves as the actual end of Kassandras story in Odyssey.

They should add a feature that randomly generates new assassin contracts. 100% the game and I have nothing to do…I just wanna be an assassin and enjoy the world.

i don’t think they want to do randomly generated contracts since the ones we already have are handcrafted, it’d kinda defeat all the work they put into them, but i could see them letting us replay them instead, which would still be nice to have

I finished mirage like one hour ago and was kinda sad it was over but this is good news, i still have to unlock one more ability, find all chests, gear pieces , tales of Baghdad etc
The game is on sale for Black Friday. I might get it especially with new game plus coming.
I would have no problem playing it twice or more considering it’s a much smaller experience rather than the 78 hours it took me to complete the base game of Valhalla .😅

@@Looksmaxxed87 Yeah I enjoyed it after beating it admittedly it took me 2 years between college and other games. If they had taken a few regions out and made the map more dense this game would've been an 8-9 out of 10. Jorvik was exactly what I wanted from a viking assassin's fantasy and I was surprised they didn't try to make other locations like that tbh.
@@yourbarber6732 you’re talking to a guy who went to every viewpoint on the entire world map, hunted every member of the order, recruited every mercenary in the lineup, and did every side quest the game allowed before I was forced to do a story quest or two because of level-gating or locations being inaccessible or targets having not spawned yet in Odyssey before I even bothered focusing on the story. I have an obsessive compulsive pattern when it comes to open world games no matter how big and I just willingly get absorbed into them, it somehow never feels like a chore.

Perma-death hmmm… nice addition although stealth must be rebalanced, since the stealth is strong and if not balanced, death will not matter as most of the encounters and even optional fights since these figths can be smokebombed or use Assassin Focus to skip, interest in how they are balancing this. As this game is the Assassin Fantasy and focus on stealth as the game layouts are made for stealth and not combat, interested to see if they will balance this.

3:01 - come on, man! The NG+ mode from Odyssey is, probably, the best NG+ concept I've seen in a game, in the last 5-10 years!
I don't do NG+ I feel that's different I feel games shoud grow with updates and new stuff not go back
@@JustinMacri007 one doesn't exclude the other. The NG+ appeared after the game reached its end of cycle (i.e. it will not receive any more content/updates). It's there to enjoy it afterwards.

I enjoyed it, though the pc controls felt a bit awkward for me, especially the parkour, even more so than Valhalla. I thought the story was so good, can't wait for next Assassin's Creed!
I actually want to talk about something I encountered. I've fully upgraded all the Prince of Persia items (outfit, dagger, sword) but I still had 2 schematics each for all of them. Is this a glitch or is it referring to the NG+ update? I've replayed the game 3 times now and it is still there.
It would be fucking amazing if the gear chests get a new loot exclusive to NG+ but then again that's expecting too much from ubisoft😅
Ac games were like a palette cleanser for when i finish a different game before figuring out what to play next. But not adding ng+ to Valhalla was so scummy. To add it to this game but not the last is so fecked. The only way i can really get back into ac now is if they add ng+ to Valhalla

Ubisoft Chyna tricked us since they told us that aren’t going to be any DLC‘s I know they meant it this time but what if that was the miss direction and if it is my theory is that they’ll see if they were gonna put any you know somebody to keep us good until assassin‘s creed red come out would be the invasion of the Mongolians at Baghdad or even yet a deal see where we get to play as low-key this time but who knows maybe there won’t be no DLC’s ever

Still pissed that Valhalla didnt get Ng+ when they could have used Fenyx Rising's Ng+ as a base since the loot system is very similar in both game. Example certain armors and weapons are in specific chests and in Fenyx Rising Ng+ instead of getting the item again you get items that let you strengthen Fenyx herself. I realy think they sould go back to Valhalla to work on Ng+ and fix the Jarl of the Raven Clan gear sets iridescent feathers shame the won't but a man can dream can't he.

Have been thinking about grabbing this game while it’s on sale.. The parkour has always looked kind of clunky to me, can anyone tell me their experience with the parkour and the game generally?
1 rule of good and fluid parkour in Mirage:replace pressing parkour button to hold this button.
2 rule of good parkour:after unlock ,,Save landing" ability,when you jumping from building,Press the jump button many time,like a nervous man.If you spam jump button,Basim make fluid,true roll.
Last rule:Be attentive and search things with white ,,bedspreads(?)".This things is marked good parkour ways.

@@gio_970 I disagree it’s short and doesn’t take much time to beat and collect things. Valhalla has so much collectibles that it needs a new game plus so you can really enjoy the story without collecting everything again.
@@michaeleggers5539 yeah sure it’s always nice to have a NG+ but what I was saying is that since Mirage is short you can’t really experience everything you can do in the game by the time it ends, you unlock all the gadgets and abilities and you can barely use them because there are nothing left to do. With a NG+ you can replay the game and try different things and stealth mechanics with all the gadgets from the start.
@@michaeleggers5539That’s not a valid point to make, you don’t have to collect anything unless you want to on Valhalla. Mirage deserves NG+ more because of how short it is and because without NG+ it has no replay ability. Valhalla is such a long game with so much to explore and so much content that it doesn’t need NG+, I still think in this day and age of video games that both Assassin’s Creed games should have NG+ though.

I could care less about the new outfit. The ezio outfit looks amazing in this game. Easily the best and easily has the best cloth physics of every outfit in the game.
Bruh, can’t believe they stretched this trash into a full game. Would’ve been better if they just added it as DLC to Valhalla alongside NG+ using the same engine, features and design - instead we got this awful trainwreck of a “triple A” game that is somehow a step backwards in every way.
