@@gumption5089 depends on who you're aiming for. Ian Curtis style, just get suit trousers, a suit shirt and boom. There are more, experimental looks, but in my opinion, Ian had the best look in post punk due to its simplicity.

I looked up 1970’s fashion and am so glad I found this. I’m american, but I know that a lot of american disco fashion was influenced by the 60’s peacock revolution, which in turn came from the carnaby street styles in England, so this kind of stuff is full circle. It’s fun seeing the more historical aspects of 70’s fashion, as well as modern wearers of the styles. (This video introduced me to Mendoza Menswear!)

i think people tend to consider trends from mid years, like from around 1965 to 1975 is heavily what would shape the 70's to be, whereas after 1975 would be where the sort of disco style is introduced as what we think about when we think 80's, even though it is still in the 70's technically
