Stoked to see you break your process down, thanks man! Been wanting to start using a separate software for culling through my shots better than just doing it in Lightroom, I’ll have to try out Bridge 🤙🏽
I’m heading over to NZ and super interested in taking 35mm pics of nature/landscapes. Any recommendations on a beginner-ish friendly camera that could take great pics of things like the beach, forests, animals? Thank you 🥰
I don’t look at others photos as I don’t want to be influenced. I just returned with 8000 raw images after a 50 day, 13,000 mile Roadtrip across the Yukon and up to The Arctic. I used my 100s and 50r for landscapes and my XH1 and 50-140 for wildlife.
If I can suggest ,the file handling seems to be quite complicated, what about the cloud ? I am syncing everything over 2 Pcs with onedrive/capture one. It would work with any editing sw. If you give me a clean pc i will be ready with my catalog and photos in matter of minutes/hours depending on the internet connection. Once is set it everything works automatically.
Which simulation do you use while shooting RAW on X100F? Because there’s no way to shoot with film simulation off and film simulation makes color and contrast difference while previewing on screen, and histogram isn’t reliable to expose based on simulations. What do you recommend?
I’ve been using a custom button assigned to preview simulation ON/OFF, but it isn’t all accurate to expose, RAW files look different when imported to editing software
I use the Astia! It's a bit more balanced imo. As for the Raws looking different, they're always going to look a little flatter in LR or wherever you're editing. Personally, I shoot with Astia on, and expose between 0.0 and +1 and find that to give me the best results :) Hope that helps!
always love to see how fellow photoraphers go about their process! thanks Matty!
Thanks bud! Gonna take these skills to Vienna this year 👌🏼👌🏼
Really helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to do time :)

Awesome to hear man! Ya bridge for the bigger projects is 100% the go - loads raws so quickly!
This is awesome info! Cheers

Does the Fuji x100 heat up while you shoot during a sunny day ?

Question, Do you still have that camera?
surprised you're not taking advantage of the film simulations that Fuji offers.
I do on occasion, but can’t say it’s a major part of my personal workflow!
You speak so fast that it's hard to follow what you say
I'll try slow it down my friend! Thanks for that :)
You have a commercial in the fast minute and a half through your video. That’s s too early and it’s a bit abusive of viewers.

That's not the solution. You must accept all manner of non-sense. Are you are millenial?@@ThorSkin69
Which modell is the monitor? 🙂 And do you pair it up with the macbook?
