I love the idea of the humidity controlled camera and lens case. Here in WI we don’t have that issue like those in the south or in Australia, but that would be a great gift for most.
9:50 Validation! I got the Godox TT350 flash the other month after some research within my budget. That it made your list validates my choice! 9:06 I don't have a dry box, but I do throw desiccant packs into my camera bag and lens cases. I swap them out regularly (whenever I get a package with them in there). I'm super paranoid of potential fungus in my lenses. 1:11 Not a fan of PD straps. Their width is nice to spread out the weight and reduce strain, but the edge of seatbelt type material they use really digs into your neck after a while. But I absolutely love the PD quick connects and have a bunch of those (they do sell them separately).
Battery Case+Charger - Hmm, tempting... Flash - Even if they already have, if it's a a larger one, the TT350 is invaluable. I carry around and use my Nikon SB-600 (which is similar size) way more than I do the Godox V1. Also, maybe they can try a multi-flash system. Travel Tripod - Ulanzi has some great options, too. Super lightweight/compact for super cheap. And it comes the built-in mount is convertible between camera use or phone use. Monopod - at a similar price point as the Cobra, might I suggest the Promaster Air Support? You pull to extend and instantly locks into place, collapses at the press of two buttons, very convenient.
❤😊 GREAT VIDEO !! GREAT IDEAS !! i recently got the tt350n, AWESOME N SIMPLE, goes great with my D5600 Maybe a small ballhead for the monopod. I have a very nice "Smallrig" on mine ($35) Also nice and habdy are collaspable soft box for you flash and collaspable reflectors to use outdoors. Both for around $20 "Smallrig" also make another tabletop tripod, the VT-20I think it is. A very nice smaller version of a full size pod, and comes with a ballhead for around $55 Have a wonderful Christmas
Some other suggestions... Instax Wide 300 or 400 camera and instax monochrome film. Canon Selphy 1500 printer. If they shoot film, 3 pack of fuji 200 usually runs about $23 on Amazon.
Great list, especially the small lights. Added a handheld light to my kit this year and it opens up some really cool options for shots. For bags, the one that's really been awesome for me has been the Hex Ranger Mini ( $50, 2.5L, arrives before xmas from amazon). Fits my aps-c camera and two lenses, with extra space for batteries/sd cards/etc. It's a super small sling perfect for street photography and travel.
I wanted to love the PD wrist strap, but I use battery grips on all my cameras as I frequently shoot in portrait orientation. The strap is only long enough for using the camera without the grip.
Please, Mark, stop making these videos! I can’t afford to watch them, even though you do budget stuff. Gifts? No, all for me!Do I need that Godox flash? No, but I now want one. Ttartisans lights? How cute are they, want them! A monopod I’ll probably never use? You bet! Sling bag, got one, camera and wrist straps from PD, man, give me a break. 😂
Mark as i m using 18 135 for sony a6600 . So what lens should i go for now viltrox 56mm 1.7, ttartisians 75mm f2, 24-70 f2.8 sony, or sigma 24-70f2.8 | | or tamron 17 70 f2.8 or sigma 30 mm 1.4 or yugnuo 33mm .please tell me some lenses that i should ads and from which brand whose lens gives amazing quality and sharpness, budgetfriendly too and exact detail of the lens that i should go for.
Hard one, given you have a versatile zoom, I would go for the TTArtisan 35mm f1.8 next, then the TT 56mm f1.8 after that. Both have great image quality and are very affordable.
Hi all. Kind of related since it’s a gift for myself. Looking for an everyday zoom and fast prime for a 40 mp Fuji. Was looking at the 33 1.4 Fuji and the kit 16-50 If I get a weather resistant xt5 or the sigma 18-50 2.8 if I get the xt50. Any suggestions. Any thoughts on if the 16-55 mark ii is that much better. Thanks all.
I would probably go with the Sigma 18-50, and for the prime, I would save the money on the Fuji 33 and buy a 35mm and 56 for a similar price, might even be less, either Viltrox or TTArtisan. The Fuji 33 is very highly regarded though, so can’t go wrong there either.

In the tripod talk, I LOVE my Smallrig AP-100. The single twist leg adjustments are SO NICE. Can be found under $200
The little tiny lights that look like rolls of film gahhhh 😫😫😫😩😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Indeed, this is a great idea.
I'm trying to work out how to get the 600L model to Australia. Matt Granger just got one for his place in Singapore.
Nice Job... Merry Christmas !!!
This is a great list, Mark!

hahaha... Too funny.
I have the little battery case thing and love it! It's a bit heavy, but it's organized fuel for a long shoot/adventure and that's critical~!
im a sucker for these types of vids
very cool !! i got a bunch of nice gift ideas.... for myself....
Great tips!

The 27mm 1.2 based on your reviews seems like an amazing prime option. That might push me towards the xt5. Thanks for the advice and all the content
@@markwiemels assuming you think detail and sharpness is comparable between the sigma and the new 16-50 Fuji?
Thanks for another helpful video!
You are most welcome!
Great stuff Mark. I don't see a link for the table top tripod
Sorry, added now.
Can’t seem to find the Sirui table top tripod in your links? Thanks
Sorry! Thanks for telling me. Try this - geni.us/5XwIGCJ
Just paused video to use a Zeiss Lens Wipe to clean my screen off, hit the space bar and you brought up the box of Zeiss Wipes... 🙂
We live in a simulation. ;-)
Hello
I am going to live in India do you watch all the videos I really need a camera I don't have money, if you give me a gift it will be of great help
Use your phone.
Those lens wipes scratch your lens! Do not recommend.
Been using them for years, never had any issues myself.
Just so folks know, they carry those zeiss wipes at my local walwarts(usually near the eyedrops section).
Same in some UK supermarkets last I checked 😊
