Hey, thanks for the video! Very slight differences in my '17 F250, but your video made this a fairly simple fix. I will say, if you are doing an F250, there is a plastic latch in the rear of the left side of the cover that can be a bit of a problem to figure out, but has to be manipulated to get it done and undone. After you get the front latches undone, you have to pull the top forward to unhook the rear latch, and vice versa to put back together. Thanks again👍
The wipers turn on when I use the washer fluid option and then they don't turn back off unless I stop the engine. I replaced the controller switch (this video) and they still won't cycle off. Is there a timer relay somewhere else?
I’m on a ford 6.7 group on Facebook. While this appears to be the most frequent issue there was a mention of a connection at the actual wiper motor under the cowling that could cause some problems too. You may have to do some deeper research and see what else can cause this. Hope you can find some resolution.
My local ford dealer quoted me 1,300.00 to replace mine and i just bought one for $70.00 and replaced it in 15 minutes great video thank you

Thanks for the help! Excellent video.
Short and sweet thanks
I remember the good old days when the only thing on the steering column was the turn signal and maybe a shifter. 😃

U ever figure it out?
@@coltinhines6879 it's in the shop right now for other stuff right now. So, not yet.
I just did one on my friends truck, and it fixed the problem, I wonder if the one u installed was bad out of the box
Also check the turn signals before putting it back together .
The local ford service center wanted me to pay them $530 to replace mine. I’m glad I didn’t fall for that.
What if you change the switch and your wipers still continue to run non stop?
Well.... That is a good question, I'm not sure because my wiper issue was resolved once I changed it.
Same here. Bought the part, changed it out, same problem. Next.
@@qjudge959did you ever get it figured out? I’m having the same problem. Thanks
@@aquab3 they replaced the wiper motor & that worked.
So i replaced the switch, and the wipers still go on their own.. ?
