Letting wulzy know how it works from a programmers view: its basically auto copy paste, ANYTHING in it will be copied. Itll check if its got a tile next to it and then the one next to those and then decide what to put in each, it does that for every piece selected.
So basically:
"If i have a piece to the left and right, but not under me, then ill put these objects here." Etc
you can also randomize
And is configure to adapt the shape so no, is not only copy paste

damn, I didn't realize how revolutionary this would be, not only for creator productivity but also for new possibilities with designs/effects etc.
"This tool is in beta and will be enhanced in future updates" he says at the bottom of the autobuild info tab. This is incredible.
The game is able to tell what to build in every case, because the template you need to fill presents every possible block placement combination, so whatever you build, it will always be a combination to draw from the template. That's super neat.

1:34 for variations you need to select the template or case to variate, spawn it in the editor, changing it, and remember to NOT delete the blocks marked as "Reference only" and use "Use nearby as reference" to not cause glitches

Man, I tried using auto build and it didn't do crap. But it's probably because I didn't use the smart template, I followed a bad tutorial. It's actually really great, can't wait for the slope autobuild

"how does it know" basically the template represents all possible ways blocks can be connected to one another. When clicking the auto build it looks at every block you placed and just looks at what surrounding blocks you placed, and based on that looks up the correct block to paste in from the template
its probably wave function collapse, which is a REALLY smart way of doing it

How it makes block designs for you all you have to do is place blocks and hit create like imagine making all the block designs by hand it would take longer all you have to do is make a template and you can use it in any level you create if thats not easier idk what is
