- We were once a Leap Attack Barb, then we became a Singer and after everything we managed to finish off the bosses with a cheeky little whirlwind build. This run was looking a little doomed at different points, we had good rune RNG from countess, the gear as absolutely insane:
- Duress
- Treachery
- Smoke
Hate keys were a little bit frustrating, but using the new P1 spawn and P7 swapping tech, we were able to get some extremely insane key rates from Nilathak (definitely a biased run)
I think in future I don't need to overlevel as much as I did in nightmare though, we can definitely look to push earlier unless it's hardcore or something

i played with these guys on 8-man speedruns as a standin, and I'm telling you i'd be lost and distracted after beating normal in 4 hours. I can do the "easy" charactes (druid, assassin, sorc) between 2 and 2:30 depending on my mood and luck, but i'm gonna be so exhausted by it
Never would I have ever thought "let me just put 1 point in all my combat skills.... that'll work!" yet here goes Kano doing the most with the least!

I've made it to Hell once (Trapsin when D2R first came out), didn't even attempt ubers. It's crazy you can just wake up one morning and go "You know what? Today I feel like doing everything available in D2 (minus the grails) in the amount of time some people work a 9-5
to be fair, it's not just "let's do this" kind of thing. It took many many attempts to achieve this run.

out of all the yt diablo players you the king rn, i been tryna beat solo hc for over a decade now and realized how much time that would take for me... watching you i'm like yup i'd have to play like this just finger mechanics-wise let alone all the micromechanics of the game itself. insane content d2-wise.

just looking at the thumbnail. it's so freaking insane to think that it's possible. I remember a long time ago when Llama first explored the idea of a hell barb and we were theorycrafting it and he even made a "hell barb" t-shirt to commemorate it done.

Incredible achievement! I would never have thought this even remotely possible until seeing Kano work his magic here. P.S. Where did that Cloak of Shadows charge come from? I'm about to hit up HC ubers myself with my Barb.

How did you get lem rune so fast? I've done countless countess runs on my level 90 single player sorc and have yet to find one. I must have had some terrible rng.
It's just pure random, I always plan around not needing it - but when you do enough of these runs sometimes it's the random lem/um that come in clutch haha

Run categories are separated by class and I guess it's somewhat part of the challenge haha

why is the graphics reverting back to old version when you click on Akara
It's a feature in Diablo II: Resurrected that allows you to swap back and forth between Resurrected and Legacy graphics, but the reason I do this is because the "yes" will unalign if you move your cursor one pixel in the new graphics - To avoid this we swap to classic graphics

man, how can you teleport with a barb in a normal difficult?
You can use a staff with teleport charges at level 24, these can be shopped at normal Ormus from Level 19+

Why keep switching between old Diablo and new
As far as i know there is two reasons: the shops are a bit quicker on old graphics when buying multiple of the same item.
And some tiles are easier to recognize when in old graphics this is useful for wave skip at baal and teleglitch at duriel
@@Fulbor looks like a waste of time to flip back an forth between the two just to save what probably doesn’t even save time to begin with would have to setup some kind of way to just play normal an play with what being done to see if it really does save any time but that would almost be impossible to test
@@barryhebert5839 it is faster, switching between modes is seamless and buying an inventory full of potions on new graphics takes a couple seconds longer. Adding that up over an entire run, especially as long as this one it will take off a couple of minutes
