- I this video I show and go into detail about how I fixed the issue with the slack from the cam shaft moving back and forth during operation by modifying the timing chain cover

Jeez thats a lot of work to get rid of that slop, nothing can be all the way perfect from the factory i guess, do you know if itll be the same on my 225? when i get around to rebuilding mine?, thanks for the demo and tips
it seems like a lot but it's just basic parts and a little time . it will make the gears on the distributor , cam and chain last a lot longer . yes same on the 195 and 225 . The BG oil products like the MOA used with the RF-7 will make engines last alot longer as well . my rural mailman uses the same addives in his Nissian Pathfinder and his engine is 400,000 + miles
Do you think the timing cover will flex?
It will alittle but you can weld in a patch plate on the back to reinforce the timing cover . I'll be showing this process/ completion in the next video
