    Look forward to seeing how this comes together. My lizard and komodo will be here friday but I'll have to wait for the chassis to be shipped.

    If you could put a speaker and a sensor in there so it plays the song
    Only when the belly wheels are moving
    And it doesn't _restart_ but it _pauses_ when the rollers aren't spinning

    thoughts on how to go about modding the 6x6 Atlas to fit the FCX24 gearbox and motor?

    That’s awesome dude, I need to stock up on spacers and bearings I have a bout 100 bearings but all 1/10 scales got to stock up for my 1/24 scale‘s but wow that’s super cool dude yeah I’m following 👍👍🤠

  • @brandonabbott1772
    @brandonabbott1772 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Looking to build another 24th scale would you recommend buying a fcx24 over a scx24 I already have a scx24 gladiator. thanks love your videos btw!!

    • @2fmrc
      @2fmrc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends how custom you wanna make it really. The fcx24 is definitely better out of the box and lots of aftermarket starting to hit for it. The electronics are better than the scx24 so if you don’t plan on changing them immediately I’d probably go fcx. The scx24 can compete if you put the fcx axles on it and eliminate the worm gears that limit it’s wheel speed. Or if you run 3s all the time the scx24 has close to the same wheel speed with a good setup. You can take an fcx out of the box and roll though and be much better than the scx24 imo

    That 2FM chassis looks awesome! Is it Stainless? I like all the shock mount holes. Getting that skid mounted up is great. Worth loosing the catch point for the slight CoG raise.
    Pretty much looks like what I had in mind to cut out by hand.....ooohh, comes in scx24 as well as carbon fiber!!!! GIGGIDY!

    • @2fmrc
      @2fmrc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s titanium. Definitely worth raising cog a bit to lose that nub that hangs on everything to me lol

    I gotta get me a FCX 24 asap!!!
    Would you rather get another rtr fcx24 or build a fcx24 from scratch ?

    • @2fmrc
      @2fmrc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are very good stock so unless you really wanna go full on custom I’d probably start with an rtr. Only issue with building from the ground up is you can’t purchase the shift link (small wire that connects the shifter to the servo) by itself so you have to make one. I’m in the works with fms to get that offered by itself. I’ve been bugging them for a wk now 😆. They said they are working on it

    Hi Matt love your content. Have you found any driveshaft that will work with these that do not have so much slop in them at the connection points. I was looking at the YH racing chassis on eBay. They look like they just have a grub screw that clamps down on the flat part. So it looks like that would take out a lot of play in the driveshaft. I have not got them yet

    • @2fmrc
      @2fmrc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Treal made some just for the fcx24 so I would assume they don’t have much play but they are stock length which kinda sucks

    • @FYRC15
      @FYRC15 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. You inspired me to put the fcx axles on my gladiator. I really love it. The injora driveshafts just have the one screw and it just has so much play. Also put rear stearing on it. When i get my sag dialed in i feel it will be a different maker.
