Sonic Robo Blast 2 is probably my favorite Sonic game ever, and it's all because of the amount of content and mods fans have made. I think it's awesome how there's this fan community around a fan game

I would like to mention other fan media projects like Archie Sonic Online and Sonic Satam season 3 both projects continue where the original shows and comics left off (or one of them before it got unfortunately rebooted)

I've been following the Season 3 Project for a few years now, completely slipped my mind whilst making this video, especially with how cool it looks. Never heard of Archie Sonic Online tho, I'll check it out.

SOnic Satam got rebooted with Underground so Sea3on Animated if finally continuing SatAM from it's cliffhanger. Meanwhile Underground got a online comic that finished it's story once and for all and it was worked on by some of the same people involved with the Archie comic and it's based on a cancelled comic that was gonna wrap up Sonic Underground anyway. Archie Sonic was always it's own thing from the start though and Ben Hurst actually avoided reading the comic so as not to cross any ideas together with the comic and the show. He never wanted to make Underground either, he wanted to finish SatAM. Then Penders effed him over with his own personal project and Sega outright rejected it. Then after Hurst passed away, Penders went and claimed every character in Archie Sonic and some of them were from SATAM!!!!!!!! Sega rebooted the comic and then had to lose everyone in the comic because of Penders! Penders may have given a lot to the comics, but he took it all with him when he left! He basically killed both Sonic SatAM AND Archie Sonic!!!!! -.-' Not like Ian Flynn was any better, he gave in to Sega's stupid mandates. That's when Sonic got stripped down to his barebone stereotype characters that were clean and corporate. That became the modern era. No references to the US canon. All bland. No innovation. Endless boost Sonic that constantly breaks character and breaks the 4th wall. Penders might have gotten carried away with drama, but Sega had no plot or emotion at all! Sonic Prime is the closest thing we have to SatAM officially and I am so glad that fans of SatAM are making their own season 3.
As an iOS user myself, I can confirm that there’s barely any Sonic fangames that can be played on iOS (there’s Sonic 3 A.I.R. and SRB2 though).

Mmm sonc, but for real lol the fan base has made some crazy stuff, my favorites are probably P_06 Robo kart 2 and the tournament edition mod for riders that adds in so many changes and also new characters, great video as always man!

@@SefWhiter Hmm… not a fan game, it’s more of a mania mod, but the Mania Misfits 2020 Demo is really promising, even if the game is on hold indefinitely. 4 classic zones remade in mania fashion. The galactic demo seems very promising as well.
