Hi William. I just downloaded Fusion 360 for the sole purpose of creating eyewear to have prototyped and came across your video. Awesome job! I was wondering if the overlapped vertices on the temple caused any issues? It didn't seem to me that it affected the temple aesthetically in soft mode.
You're probably quite right. There are so many things to consider when designing eyewear. Aesthetics, Ergonomics, the intended uses, the people using them, the way it is produced, the limitations of production method, not to mention the unique value proposition that the product should/could have. From a layman perspective this is truly a overwhelming task. Honestly though, I think this goes for a lot of design development processes. Its has to be said that this video was intended for people who have some prior knowledge of product design. In fact, i would say the entire Fusion 360 program is intended for that kind of audience.
Hey William. Thanks for the video. Lots of tips in here!
@william - Great vid! Do you know of a way to create a slight crease? Right now it seems it can only be creased or entirely smooth. No in-between.
Hi William, maybe you know how to make the separate temple arms of glasses? Thank you...
