As a malay, i think terror or “terer” also means 厉害 or like 非常厉害 哈哈哈！
Eg: wah! You ken(can) anser (answer) all the question korect (correct)! So terer lah you!
And I also think “action” means sombong/arrogant

Cincai originally is from Chinese hokkien. It is absorbed into Malay in Malaysia.

We only do that amongst us. With foreigners, we tend to switch back to 'proper English' unconsciously.

5:55 For cincai, there’re two meanings too.
One is being easy going, friendly manner, not fussy, flexible.
Another one it can mean negatively, being not self-loving, such as can have a relationship or sex with anyone. So don’t simply say a person, especially girls cincai and got scolded for no reason. xD

那些“lah,mei,ah,liau”等等 都是从马来文或中文方言里的习惯语气用语 套在英语里，新加坡也一样。

He’s wrong on the word “terror”. Terror is used to mean “cool”, “awesome”, “dope” etc. for example “he’s so terror!” (He’s so cool, dude).
The other word “action” is usually used to mean cocky or arrogant or even egoistic. In a sentence, it would be “hey the lady so action la” or “that lady is so arrogant”.
Manglish sounds difficult but when you get into Malaysia culture you will able to use to it,because everyone are the same

terror, when used in northern bahasa, actually means ‘skillful’ or ‘knowledgeable’. We say hang terror noh, which means you’re really skillful
In my circle of people, we use ‘terror‘ to mean ‘hebat‘ as in Malay. Like, ‘Wahhhh, you‘re so terrorlah‘. Or, ‘Terrorlah youuuu‘
I like the two word combo “like that” hahaha! You should talk about the super word “can”, gostan is good too. 😂

其实如果我和外国人说英语的时候是不＋lah lo li那些的
就像我和中国人或者台湾人说话，连腔调都会自动转换，其实很多人都会这样做，要不然听起来很怪，很像在说别的语言，同时想让对方觉得有亲切感，也比较容易听懂，并不是为了装逼。。。
俺也會這麼幹（不用懷疑，俺是馬來西亞人），很多人也覺得馬來西亞華人會這麼幹。但要是仔細觀察，會發現這麼幹的馬來西亞華人，其實還是佔少數的。俺身邊就一大堆在這些情況下根本沒法子好好切換，馬來西亞人的口語習慣完全沒法子撇掉的人。

The word Cincai originally came from Hokkien, one of the "Chinese dialects". The meaning is "随便”。The way to write the word was kind of lost to history but some scholars think it is written as “尽在”, or "凊彩"。
I thought is written as 青菜😅

如果会广东话，就不是很难懂马来西亚人说的英文了。我和马来西亚朋友聊天，他们就是这样说话的。我们说“很难。”他们喜欢说“很艰难”。“千猜”是我跟他们聊天后猜是“随便”的意思。但我觉得很多马来西亚人都很厉害，他们很多人都会多种语言，比如：马来西亚语，英语，普通话，广东话，客家话，潮州话，福建话。令我十分佩服！😊
Terror is also like so “chun” / hebat. We don’t use it only for negative connotation.

Well, culturally speaking, Singaporeans & Malaysians are nearly one & the same. We are close neighbors & used to be a single country after all.
With a few exceptions like 'siah' and the overuse of 'anyhow' which are more common in Singlish.
cincai（随便）不是马来语，而是闽南话。还有jalan不难理解，跟中文的“门路”这个词一样，也是可以代表一种客观事物，也能代表走关系、走后门。很多马来西亚华人因为太多语言混合使用，其实他们对词源的了解并没有原生方言使用者清楚，这个可以理解。但是还是要澄清一下，我在很多马来西亚华人的频道都遇到这种问题，他们搞不清楚某个词是来自闽南语还是粤语还是马来语，因为他们都混在一起使用了。但是这些词在中国大陆福建闽南语地区或广东粤语地区都很容易分辨。

小弟到了紐西蘭後，就自身經歷過了許許多多的發音改正和調整用詞，正如以上有些 Mike 老師所提到的，是我當時在馬來西亞的小學和中學未曾學過的。若不出國，小弟我可能都活在不知覺裡，使用錯誤的英語發音和用錯詞。
在此，我個人的看法是，要提倡說好、說正確的英語。竟然要說英語，不管在什麼場合，不管是對誰談話，若是懂得的，就要用正確的發音和用對的詞、正常地表達。不懂得的，就謙卑地、慢慢地學習、改善、改掉錯誤的發音，不要把不好、錯誤的發言留給他人和後人。

to differentiate between manglish and singlish, look out for the word -sia, malaysians wont use they word. and Manglish usally has a higher concentration of Chinese dialects and Malay words.
Jalan can also use for "proceed". "Jalan only la, don't think so much."
Actually, if u want to learn a language easily, just adapt to the culture, communicate with people who are of this culture. Then, you'll easily understand their language, slang, and accent.
“Cincai” actually means 随便，来自福建语。Malaysians are well-known of able to speak multi language. First is their mother tongue and second is our national language and English (excluded their dialect). As for me, I speak Mandarin, Malay, English (not so fluent) and other dialects like Hakka, Hokkien and Cantonese. 欢迎到来马来西亚！

They are Chinese words pronunciation actually, lah=啦，ah=啊，meh=么，loh=咯。It's just the local Chinese speaking habbit to mix all kinds of languages they can handle into a single sentence, not only the Malaysian, but also the Singaporean.

结尾的语气助词，我感觉都是闽南人传过去的。什么 啦，啊，齁，呐的。闽南语里非常常见。
To properly form sentences in Manglish just directly translate chinese sentences into english, and also use some Manglish words to represent those that don't seem to have a direct English equivalent.
For example： 哎呀，他很随便的啦。Translation: Aiyah, he very cincai one lah.
Note: 哎呀 = Aiyah(no direct English equivalent), 他 = he, 很 = very, 随便or随和(proper mandarin) = cincai(Manglish equivalent of simple or easy going), 的 = one(it is rare to find an English equivalent for 的, so it's usually or always represented using the English word one.), 啦 = lah(no direct English equivalent)
The concept would be much easier to understand if you are a local Mandarin speaker.
Cinchai 是福建语，你可以翻绎成随便、马虎，但比喻一个人时是行容他为人随和而不是隨便。

2:01 As a mainlander Chinese, I always think “Gwai Lo” is kinda derogatory for caucasian people. Because ‘Gwai Lo’ means “ghost guy” in Chinese. (I think it’s because the skin color of white people makes them seem like ghosts to Chinese people).

i remember i used to have to or purposefully to put lah meh loh etc at the end of my proper English so that the other end can understand me or localised myself when i just returned to M'sia. That was fun. Hahaha...

Meh 咩 is Cantonese, Cincai is Southern Hokkienese which could also mean "not putting enough effort" or a "relaxed/casual" manner. Jalan is more like "管道" than 关系。
