12:00 Ok, is it possible for the jury to convene after opening statements? Guy says he was driving drunk and planned on committing that same offense after getting fuel for his vehicle, why is this in court? Drunk and disorderly, driving while intoxicated, assault, trespass etc., and he admitted it freely in front of everyone.
And him objecting and calling the witnesses liars, demanding the people charge his phone, what a prick!

Well, work got in the way for me this morning and early afternoon. Then took my lunch break and I washed the garbage cans in the house because I had noticed they were a little whiffy. As I did this, I pondered that I could be watching garbage instead of washing it. Pun intended, but it actually happened. Now I am am cleaned up, the cans are drying in the Nashville sun, and I am sitting down with lunch to watch this fiasco.
And me? I have been recording this courtroom for years, so the screaming about no verdict doesn't bug me. I'm sure you have a copy you'll post (or at least recap) later, but if you need one, I can fish it from the archives.

    "I object!"
    "On what grounds?"
"Her pants are clearly on fire because she's a liar!"
He should have been held in contempt for his attire. I've seen that done. Watched a judge say, "You showed up to my court dressed like that?? Good enough. You'll be dressed appropriately when you come back in 2 weeks because you will be in a county jumpsuit and halfway through your 30 days' time for contempt. Bailiff, get him out of my sight." And it was that easy. People don't realize how much power a judge actually has.
The pitiful part of this is that he has no clue EVERYONE on that jury sees him as a clown of the stupidest level. An absolute embarrassment to himself, but he thinks he's the coolest guy ever.

    • @susandarnell4524

We had a judge who did not like a guy showing up in court wearing a t-shirt that said,"Dallas Cowboys kick ass". Judge told him to go home and change and gave the boy, 30 days in the county jail. Here, if you are held in contempt, you get no gain/good time. You have to pull every day of that sentence.

I stopped watching tv, Mike, because I’m hooked on your videos I love them. 😊😂. Though I do watch through my tv screen. As someone else mentioned it would be helpful, if in your title you type in “No Verdict” or something that tells us if we watch it we will not see verdict for that case (just my 2-cents suggestion).. I’ll probably still watch because some trials are just entertaining, but ALL are so darned interesting. I get hooked. 😊😂. Thanks for putting this stuff out there. As entertaining as these videos are I’ve learned so much about the whole legal process. The number one thing I learned - always hire a lawyer if going to court. 😊

I'm sorry, but once someone is "trespassed" that means right then, not sit in his car while still on the property. And not return hours later to move his car. So if he didn't leave, without driving, he should have been arrested for public intoxication. Police handled this wrong initially. Also, him still being there negates the woman who was worried about getting off work and the defendant still being there in the parking lot. Police should have never left until he was off the property.

I have never seen a trial where the jury hands over questions to the judge in open court. They usually go back for deliberation, then send out questions…WOW, just plain wow on him taking this to court for a jury trial. You trespassed after warning SIR!!!!!

Is he wearing cargo shorts? He'd never be allowed in the courtroom here in Michigan dressed that way, let alone be allowed to act in his own defense.

Ok everyone who is not driving this weekend and wants to play a drinking game, listen up. Everytime the first witness says, "um", take a drink.
    FOR Pete's sake! 😳😖🙉🤦🏼‍♀️
The defendant objected and said, "she's lying and I don't appreciate it." 😂😅🤣😂
I have never heard that before.
Overruled?! What do you mean judge? 😊
I can only imagine how much judges must be thinking when a defendant has no council. Especially someone that pulls the Sovcit malarkey. I guess the Sovcits can be entertaining, so there's that. ✌🏻

I saw a comment while watching it on tv that said to take a shot every time he objected. I came to comments on TH-cam to find it and to suggest Not to take a shot every time the first witness said 'um'. I don't think anyone can handle that much alcohol.
It tickled me to see your comment.
