I have used a sanding eraser (regular size eraser) on even bigger areas with great success! Of course you need great paper, and then you can always smooth the paper with a polished gem stone! Thank you, because I didn’t know that they came in the small size, yay!! Thank you for all of your help!!💕

For lines like where you’re trying to erase the paint, I would use a ruling pen to apply masking fluid. Adjustable widths with perfect edges. Load the tip of the pen with a small cheap brush … it’s not a dip pen.
Oh wow, duh. Erasers would work great for mandala painting too. I was filing down chopsticks. This is so much easier. I certainly didn't think to use it on watercolor. Love these tricks and tips, always! Thanks!
Thank you for this, you are soo brave lol. How much pressure did you use and how much paper did it remove Racheal. I have used a battery powered eraser with my graphite drawings and my pen/ink drawings but ohh sooo scared to put it near my watercolour. It would have to be really dry before you do.
There are sanding erasers the size and shape of regular erasers. I doubt that they would work on oil or acrylic but maybe would work on gauche. You could always experiment, the regular size ones aren’t expensive…

Interesting! I'll have to try that!
I should have said a polished stone (it doesn’t have to be a gemstone!) I got mine from a thrift shop bracelet.
@@donnacarraway9182 What a neat idea! Do you just swirl the polished stone in circular motions or back and forth?
The opening got a serious belly laugh. 😂😂😂

Yes it has to be perfectly dry and how much you scrub depends on how much you want to lighten an area.
Thanks 4 this!
My pleasure!
Cool ink eraser!!! Can I buy one at Hobby Lobby?!
I doubt it - I had a very hard time finding any ink eraser - I finally found one on eBay! and Amazon. There is a link in the description!
Do you have any idea how to get the ink eraser refills? Thank you!!
I think I saw them on Amazon and/or ebay!
Thanks for teaching us! I must practice. The electric eraser is only for watercoler? I paint on canvas with acrylic or oil...💕

@@donnacarraway9182 Ok, thanks!
When you say link here and point upward, nothing is there. I noticed that changed with Paul Clarks channel also about a month or so ago.
I'll have to check. I might have forgotten something.
Happened with bunches of ytubers...🤔
Can’t figure out where to click! Help please!
I changed it to private until 9 am at 4/9/22 (This morning)
Que Bkn!
What is the difference between "grainer" and "wisp" brushes?
I just googled it and they look like the same thing.
Erasers damage the paper, I wouldn't work on the area afterwards.
Yes, this eraser is pretty hard on the paper
I have such a heavy hand im always so worried about going through the paper with those electric erasers lol
Yeah the jury is out if I'll use it a lot
Went from masking then jump to almost finished just made me confused

5 minutes into the video and still no info about erasing w/c. ????????
I save the best for last
Can't speak for all but the first thing watercolor taught me was patience.
