For those asking for the sheet music, do a web search on "Django Fakebook pdf". The version in there is the same chords and melody. You'll have to figure out our additions on your own. :)
Justin Au - trumpet (Au Brothers Jazz Band, West End Stompers- aubrothers.com)
Chloe Feoranzo - Clarinet (Postmodern Jukebox, several bands in New Orleans)
Conrad Cayman - Guitar (The Big Butter Jazz Band - www.bigbutterjazzband.com)

The solos shot first!

_Shut your mouth, you mediocre clarinet player._
+Auriansmule u shut up I play clarinet and its actually really hard
+Sebastian Petersen yeah I play it too
The force is in that band!
Marvinmf XD
when guitar started I was like 'hit the road jack? No? Oh ok...'
LMAO
yes 😂 But its a little bit different
It sounds nothing like it to me.
xddd yess
Put the speed on 1.25, sounds awesome :)
I've heard many versions of this. I've heard orchestras do it, I've heard real Hot Club-style quintets do it, I've heard house bands and metalheads and everyone in between do it. I don't know what it is about this version, but it's still my favourite. It's just the best version there is outside the OST. The "Duel of the fates" quote gets me every time.
Thank you so much!
So this is what the cast of Mythbusters does in their spare time
The instruments where shoot and blown up afterwards :D
jajajaja
Clarinet solo was fantastic!
2:33 when it comes to that fantastic note where the rabbit bites its own head off, someone throw this radio into the tub with me!
If Pixar ever made a Star Wars movie, this would be the soundtrack.
ya i thought that too! High 5✋🏻
+Fluff That would be awesome if Pixar would hire us!
my band teacher showed the class this now I'm hooked
Great! Where is your school? Thank your band teacher for us!
ConradC1 Ok will do and ACMS
what instrument do you play
I always forget the original writers name. Would you happen to know it?
John Williams, legendary composer. Also did the other Star Wars movies, Raiders of the Lost Ark, the Harry Potter films, and so many more.
These are the nerds I've been looking for. Well done!
+Tim Curtis Jr YES! You sir, have made my day with this comment!

The piano version is pretty chill too
Just do what my mom did when she got addicted to a Packman machine, throw it out the window.
2:14 :) gotta love that clarinet solo
AU where star wars takes place in old style New Orleans.
That's what we're going for! Thanks!
The force is strong in these ones.
It's not just any jazz style of music. It's Dixieland, the granddaddy of jazz music!
it's called "Jizz" in star wars just saying haha
+ninjafisher03 Someone else said that and I thought they were just trolling! Then I looked it up...
5/7 would shoot first again.
john williams would be proud
Why is Grant Imahara playing the trumpet?
Sadley, it isn't Grant, it's his evil twin brother Tnarg.
Haha :D i was just thinking the same
I thought exactly the same thing
Thought the same thing legit.
because he couldn't make a robot good enough to play it.
Doesn't matter how many times i listen to this.... you guys have me dancing in the kitchen, in the living room, walking down the road, when i'm buynig shit in the shop. anywhere i go and listen to you guys jam i am moving all over the place. BRAVO!!! :)
Glad it does that for you!
Never have I wanted to play trumpet so bad
Same

I play trumpet, lol.
+Brent Coates i'm gonna start playing trumpet after summer! I'm really lookin' forward to that!
I play violin and almost played a woodwind or brass until I realized you have to clean out your spit with some of those instruments. Would rather clean some rosin off of my strings.
impressive, most impressive
IMO this is the best version of Cantina Band on the internet.
Play that same song :D
Check out Christopher Bill's version
+Robert Edwards The piano ragtime duet version by Spitznagel is excellent.
Parabéns pelo video! Eu adorei. Quem me dera se eu tivesse amigos músicos aqui no Brasil que pudessem tocar junto comigo e fazer videos...

Reminds of my days in a New Orleans cathouse.

I usually dislike the sound of high notes on the clarinet but this was amazing. All of you, pravo.
Nick Werstler-When played by the right musician, it can sound great
So... does that include Squidward or no?

That clarinet solo tho. Such an underrated instrument for jazz.
"Jizz" is the actual, canon name of this musical style. Congrats, you are now the Jizz Crew.

Yeah, I know. It's just that the music style is rather like what it was in the first 20 years of the XXth century.
+Briseur De Lance I don't get it :3
I can pretty easily imagine this being played at a classy speakeasy in downtown 1925 Chicago...
This is what happens after you and your friends take a dozen rips off of a gravity bong

Have you seen our video of the Monsters Inc theme? It's also on the album along with this song.

Have you guys all achieved Grade 8 in your instruments. Cause this is probably my favourite version of this song. I especially like the trumpet solo. Hopefully one day I'll be able to play it.
Dam, that clarinet player though. I'm a clarinet player myself (14) I gotta say, yiu sound amazing on your solo.
That was really good considering that there was only 3 of you
I usually don't care for clarinet too much....unless it's played like that! Great work!
Best cover of the Cantina Band yet. :)

Later that day they had some spit roast
Simply awesome! Recently purchased their CD. Crisp sound, original execution of classics, smooth. A sincere "Kudos!" to all of you guys. Keep up the good work. Expecting more nice sounds to come from you.
Thank you for your support, Thalis! We're planning on doing another album next year! It's kind of hard coordinating a time when we are all so far apart.
what's the name of this kind of jazz? I'm really into jazz lately, and doing a lot of listening.. congratulations for this awesome arrangement! Greetings from Brazil!
ps: sorry for the bad english, haha!
Jizz.
I'm not even kidding. George Lucas named space jazz "jizz" without knowing it was another word for sperm
it's called hot jazz or hot club jazz.
+Vinicius Contiero De nada, muito obrigado! Qual cidade? This is traditional jazz, also known as trad jazz, hot jazz, vintage jazz, early jazz, or Dixieland.
