These look awesome, just ordered the flat version. Didn't even know that "tuning" was available on the shifters, I had already adjusted the paddles to be on the other side to have them closer, but the actual throw is still long. I'm already used to it so I just stuck with the flat one.
You can, but that set screw is extremely short, so you run out of adjustment quickly. I think that only exists to provide a contact/wear point for the switch lever against the aluminum angle, so the spring steel doesn't chew through the aluminum.
Very nice! Do you know if this magnetic shifter mod will fit a Fanatec Clubsport BMW GT2 rim? They look very similar on the back. I also just ordered this universal hub so I'll be looking to buy 1 or 2 of these soon. Thanks!
Thanks! This version won't fit the BMW rim due to the plastic shroud over the back of the shifters - but my RSR version is close (it just doesn't have both magnets fully contacting each shifter, since the BMW shifters are asymmetric).
@@A60363 Thanks for the reply! If you made the magnetic shifter mod for the BMW rim, I would definitely buy one. I can't find any of these made in the US. They're all from Europe.
just recently ordered a pair of your F1 shifters, can’t wait to get them! love your work, keep it up! :)

You know you can regulate the switch activation point with 1.5m Allen Key right ?

Still it's an adjustment. I was able to get rid of a lot of post-activation travel and got it really tight

I have the exact same issue. Would definitely buy one if you made it for the bmw gt2 v1 rim.
Can you release the version 2 of the f1 wheel mod on thingiverse please? Love your great ideas!
