Aside from the beautiful melodies, riffs and just plain catchy music they come up with, these guys must be in the top ten lyricists in the whole history of music. From talks to angels to this, to descending, thunderstorm, soul singing and dozens (hundreds?) more, the lyrics are just incredible. I don't think I had ever noticed in a song before how fantastic the lyrics were until I first heard talks to angels back in 1990. That line "The cross is from someone she has not met..... well not yet", my jaw just dropped. Amazing. And with this, "two moths that hover close to the light of morning". Simply awe-inspiring songwriting
