Water acumalating inside the assembly is another issue. I just drilled a couple of 2/23 holes in the very lowest inside area of the lowest corner of the plastic housing as well as one up in the top area to stop condensation😢 seems to be working OK for now 😢.
My 2019 Edge has got condensation inside the lens. Being as it's LED lights , no heat generated, so why is there condensation? Is this an issue with Ford? Showroom vehicle even had condensation, spoke to GM of dealership, tight lipped said nothing.
I wonder how much my adaptive LED headlight Assembly is for my 2016 Lincoln MKZ glad I bought the BEST extended warranty before the Certified warranty ran out I bet that headlight is 2500 since it does turn as you turn your wheel $100 deductible is worth it
Yes I have a 2017 Ford escape with water in it The right side shorted out. I was lucky to find a used one for $300.00 now the left side is filling up. I drilled a couple of 2/32 holes in a very low and inconspicuous place on the in side of plastic housing I also put A 2/32 hole in the very upper area of the plastic housing that I think is a dryer area free from rain water. I havent tested it at a hands free car wash area yet😢🎉 wish me luck. Can any show how to go back to a normal bulb assembly. I am depressed 😢
We bought a 2014 Edge. Still has light bulbs, but the transfer cases in the Edge/Escape/Fusion AWD cars are junk...per MacT's earlier video on the subject. Ours has under 100K miles and we've got it at the dealer now getting a new T.C. because the old one puked already. "Sealed for life" - also just BS.

Can you take that light apart to get the moisture out of it
I have a 2016 ford edge. Back up light on passenger side is not working. Could it be a fuse.
There are several on ebay for $200- $300.. But even that is crazy high.
