  • Shooting with Off Camera Flash is a lot of fun and very easy to do, once you get the basic principles correct. In this video, I tackle of few of those basic principles as I take you behind the scenes during an actual engagement shoot. I explain in detail the thought process behind the images plus some tips and techniques that will make your flash journey easier, hence a lot of fun.
    Special thank to our couple Marvin and Ruby for allowing me to create content while I was photographing them for their engagement shoot.
    Jasper Josue for being an amazing second photographer
    The MnB guys led by Anton Dizon for the laughter and fun.
    And of course Christy, Jeff and Cherry for the BTS videos and Photos

    Just something about me…
    Since prior to my entry into the wedding industry, I have been considered to be one of the most reputable lighting specialists in the Philippines, conducting workshops nationwide and have been featured in various photography magazines. I was also a multi-awarded portrait and advertising photographer.
    My expertise is in manipulating ambient and artificial light to create clean and classic photographs which naturally led me to the genre of portrait and wedding photography. Since then, I have shot numerous weddings locally and overseas exhibiting my signature style.

    Hi Jiggie, you have some excellent techniques which are explained very well. It is fortunate for beginners such as myself to have the opportunity to benefit from your wealth of experience. I am curious to know if, when you edit your photos, there is much to be done with the actual clients faces etc., separate from what you are doing to create such dramatic skies/scenery? It appears your models/clients are almost perfected straight out of the camera, and most of the post processing is done with the scenery.

    Great video Jiggie! How do you handle the light when the sun is in the models face? Would you not prefer to backlight with the sun and have the flash filling the shadows so it would be from the opposite direction as the sun?

    • @JiggieAlejandrino
      @JiggieAlejandrino  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the quality of the light coming from the sun

    what strobe light did you used for this?
    what do i need to make this useful on the outdoor shoot like you did?
    di ko pa kasi alam yung kompletong setup of the strobe you used. magkasama ba yan pag binili? or separate how much po magagastos sa strobe ?kasama na trigger flash, softbox etc...
