My headlight wiper sprays the liquid over the hood cover too.😢 When it dries out it forms a layer and it looks ugly. What should I do to prevent this?

I need to know how to turn OFF the headlight sprayer! It sprays my entire hood and is so annoying. My Volvo dealer here has zero clue on how to do it.
