Hey Jon, I was an OG and know that you first fished with your dad on Lake zurich off the promenade. I live on that lake and can take you out! That would be unreal to visit the spot where you first fished!
Austin Matuszewski I would send him a DM on Instagram, he would probably come closer to seeing it. I imagine he has so many comments on his vids he doesn’t see every last one of them.
These travel videos are really interesting to see how things get done across the world. The bass reminds me of the white bass we have in the states. Great video yet again, I just thought that the abrupt end of the last one was for dramatic/cinematic purpose didnt even really notice lol.
Ok, so I haven’t watched your videos in a couple months and clicked on this one because you are in Australia ( my home country) and at 00:50 I recognised a building from my small town I live in and sure enough your in Redcliffe! So crazy
As a local aussie seeing jon b in my country fishing for our fish makes me proud i really hope you really enjoy your time in this country, also dont go in the water up north bad idea 🐊, good luck with the barras they great fighting fish
Loving the backdrops and the cool camera work, but the soundtrack is amazing. Its the kind of music that i would anyway expect to hear making my way through Australia.
Loving the Aus tour guys. As you make your way up the coast to make neck of the woods in Townsville and then on to Cairns, there are a two places you guys NEED TO VISIT!!!!. Eungella Dam, just inland from Mackay, this place is renowned for its monster Sooty Grunty........SEROUSILY INSANE THIS PLACE and a must have fish for your Aus Bucket Fish List, then you guys need to stop off in Bowen, and fish the Jetty......this place has the most diverse range of Aus fish species in Australia. Anywhere from Spanish Mackrel and Barra, to Bream, Flatties, and everything else in between. Hope you guys find the time to check them out, as they will not dissapoint. Enjoy the trip guys
please bring one or all of the googans to australia for a fishing trip again i watch you guys all the time and i know the group would love the fishing here as you did
So stoked you are in Aus mate, been a subscriber for quite a while. Wish you came in Summer, they ALL bite a lot better in the hotter weather. My cousin caught a 104.5cm Murray Cod in January this year. Looking forward to watching the rest. Would have been sweet to meet you, but I am in Newcastle and you are way up North. Enjoy either way, and it would be awesome to see you catch a horse of a Murray Cod before you go home!
Awesome to see you bought Atomic. Haven’t watched this video since release and couldn’t be asked to comment; but they’re one of my favourites, swims amazing.
Just like to say this video inspired me to go fish a little canal on my family vacation and in the span of 30 minutes I caught 2 of my dream fish. A tarpon and a snook. All caught on the 7’2 rigged rod. Thanks so much for your inspiration to keep fishing, never stop.
LOL at him trippin on all the bream lures! ahah typically in aus we throw big for cod and other big species, they are all bream lures, a very finesse small sport fish that is popular here
John Great video man!! Your the best! You’ve inspired me to start a TH-cam about fishing and soon will be posting videos of me fishing and going on trips!! Thank you!
Lake Samsonvale is only 3klm from my house. The average size Australian Bass caught here is about 40cm. The fishing is better from a boat with a Boating Access Permit, with bass caught over 50cm. Cheers
Hinze Dam which is less than an hour from the Gold Coast hold those monster Bass you're looking for. My PB of 57cm came from Hinze (We shot an episode that day), though fish as big as 64cm have been caught in the Dam. Great vid guys and glad you had a great time in Australia 🍻
G'day good to see ya back in OZ. Oh don't worry about the scratch on the car it shore to buff out..... you should if you go back fish for some King fish there a tuff fish..... look forward to seeing more of your vid on our great country hope you enjoy
Australian bass is more of a summer fish, in winter they head to the deeper water to school they're still catchable on jigs but you typically catch more in structure during the summer
Walking in flip flops on a normally venomous infested land epic,it is me or you're series are becoming better and better because this one is turning out to be epic
