I think everybody would pick Kanan and Zeb or Ezra over these two rebel figures. I couldnt even think of buying lego when they released original Ghost so for me this was like a 2nd chance and I know it's going to look great on the shelf. It's fun and bright and colorful and it catches the eye right away. Same as guardians of the galaxy orange ship. Everyone always notices it. Cad's bane ships looks great from up close but its a big grey block from far. I think If I were to pick a grey ship I would buy the Dune omnicopter instead. Great machanism in there and its like half the price. Pretty much everyone saw Dune by now so every guest would be like 'oh is that from Dune?'.
I'm glad you're getting a second chance at the ghost! And that is a great point about the ornithopter - that is probably a much better set overall. Now I'm reminded that I want to buy that set too LOL 🙃
Man, you're good at this. Excellent video. I don't share your opinion on play sets in general, though. I find myself leaning more toward smaller display pieces. As a recent exercise I scrolled through the Lego site and did yea or nay to all the sets. When you cross off play sets, and sets too large to display, it becomes a remarkably affordable hobby. On the other hand, you made a great pitch for the Justifier...
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your comment as always! That is an interesting practice! Some of the best sets can be the small, displayable models. I think my favourite is probably actually the Tallneck from Horizon Forbidden West that LEGO did a while ago. I'm not sure if it's your cup of tea, but it is a remarkable set. Almost perfect, in my opinion
@@onecleverpig I looked at that set so often on the shelves at the Lego store, always tempted to pick it because of the way it looked. But I had no connection to it, I had never played the game. I've regretted that ever since, and may yet pick it up... you can still get it at almost original retail at Amazon. It's at the outside limit of what I'm able/want to display in terms of height. Definitely tempted.
CP lore enthusiasts wanna know if getting the Justifier at the deal price you did helped influence your thoughts at all 👀 I’m glad you liked the set! Really cool to see a unique opinion on the Justifier.
LOL the deal is always helpful. But TBH I think these two sets are very comparable and after building both I can honestly say: they deserve to have the same price tag
As always, your video content, vernacular and play on words are nothing short of delectable and tasteful. I thoroughly enjoyed my appetizer and main course. Chefs kiss from me
Interesting review and thoughts. I have bought both of these sets but have not built either one. It’s funny that all of the hate for the justifier seems to never come from people that own the set. Actual reviews in the build itself have all been positive. I think you nailed it. The issue is that it’s $170 for a ship most people have never heard of. I also find the figs in the ghost underwhelming. I have the original version and it was not popular when it was available. But now people want it because they missed out and finally figured out that rebels was good. That original version had a great fig selection.
That is a great perspective, thanks Jason! Yeah I remember when the first one came out and I passed on it since I thought a lot of the rebels ships looked silly at the time. But now I've come to appreciate the show and basically have no chance at getting a Kanan or Zeb figure as they are insanely expensive! I'll be interested to hear your thoughts when you get around to building either of them!
i think both are pretty neat, not my cup of tea but glad you found them at a good deal. also ended up with a more postive view of the justifier than before the review. but overall think i like the ghost more
I’ve got both, they live together and honestly the justifier was probably the last set before the downsizing took over looking back it is worth it’s price, look at the new ISD coming out, more expensive and far smaller
thankyou for not saying Hera is a pretty forgettable character from the show.... that one time when you see her flight suit pantaloons from the rear are burned into my brain lol.... stupid hot Twi-lek space aliens... sigh lol
That is a good point! After having them for a few days, I am impressed with how the Ghost uses its space, and I think my daughter prefers the Ghost too
People complained so much about the justifier price but it’s a big ship & that stuff is so subjective. People will pay for something if they really want it. Great review. It’s funny that those people that complain about price will turn around & go buy a set like R2 just for the exclusive fig. 😆 Sets are so subjective to each individual.
@2:27 people always used to say that wedging parts between studs was “illegal” but the technique is used in many sets now…hurry call the LEGO police 😆. I’m in the camp that if you can shake a build vigorously & nothing comes off it’s all good.
I totally agree!! I remember seeing that technique for the first time in a creator set (blue power jet or something??) 10+ years ago so it's definitely nothing new!

Ear and Eye candy. Great video. The sets this size are perfect for playing.🥰
Thank you so much!! Really appreciate it!!
Tremendous video and loving the upset win for the Justy~! Wow.
Thanks Sean!! Really appreciate your kind words, my guy!

Both sets r great. The Justifier got a lot of hate but I think it was worth the price. Well, as much as any set is worth their price anyway
Lol very good point! We are still paying A LOT of money for plastic toys, at the end of the day 🙃
Been looking at my sealed Justifier lately. Getting hungry for that meal.
Crack them seals, my guy! I think you'd enjoy it. Cool set and the figs are choice 👌

Fair enough, and certainly to each their own! I appreciate your comment!

I agree!! The sets are definitely getting smaller, and the price tags certainly aren't following suit. End of an era, I suppose!
🔥🔥
Cheers, Scott!!
I’d rather have Kylie wrens black micro fighter. 🙃
Hahahaha careful what you wish for
thankyou for not saying Hera is a pretty forgettable character from the show.... that one time when you see her flight suit pantaloons from the rear are burned into my brain lol....
stupid hot Twi-lek space aliens... sigh lol
😂😂😂 she is definitely not forgettable!
She’s an incredible pilot, too.
@@moonshoes11 she is! Hera is my favourite Star Wars pilot
What did you expect a exploding pen ! We don’t really go for that kind of thing anymore
😂😂 love it
Tbh not a fan of how big the justifyer is, but there's hardly any interior space. Meanwhile the ghost is the exact opposite lol.
That is a good point! After having them for a few days, I am impressed with how the Ghost uses its space, and I think my daughter prefers the Ghost too
I think the justifier is worth it because there are slot of big pieces
Totally agree! The pieces are quite large in that set! And the figs are awesome too 👌
yeh, a star war legos are always soooo grey... the ghost had no chance
Very true! They could do with a splash of paint
add a few Ewok Murder Bears both sets would be perfection.... yub nub
