Lego Ghost & Phantom II REVIEW / Did they mess it up?

- The largest and most impressive set from the Disney Ahsoka series is a ship called the Ghost. First seen in the animated series Star Wars Rebels, this is the first time we've seen this ship or its captain, Hera Syndulla, in live action.
Lego's first attempt at creating the Ghost was back in 2014 for the animated show, but back then it was sold separately from its paired shuttle, the Phantom II. In 2023 Lego is wrapping them both together in a single set. Is it one of the best sets of the year, or should you save your money?

You forgot to mention the real big oversight in this set and that is the missing frontal loading entrance. I missed this in the first version and really hoped they would do it right this time, but obviously they decided just to remake the old version a little fancier. And the Phantom looks absolutely crappy compared to the old one. Of course it had to be smaller to fit better in comparison to the Ghost, but they could have made the Phantom an extra Set and use the parts to make the Ghost bigger and better.
Thank you for watching! Yeah at the size they designed this, there was only room for side ramps and not any underneath the bubble turret up front. I think it would have to be quite a bit larger to include both, at least if that front ramp opened up to the interior and not just to nothing.
I like the smaller Phantom II in this set, mostly because the scale works well with the play-scale Ghost. I also like the idea of everyone having both and avoiding anyone missing out on a Phantom to go with their Ghost. The separate Phantom in 2014 was a bit too large to sit on the Ghost in my eyes, even though they made it work. But there are definitely a lot of directions Lego could have gone with this set, and I can totally understand wanting to see what they could have done if they offered improved versions of a separate Ghost and Phantom.
