When I saw his damage reaching 3k during the stream I thought it might've been possible for him to get 4k, but decided against it when I saw there were 2 other teams left and the last ring was starting to close. And then the madman actually went and did it.
After a long time, he finally got his well deserved double hammer on Octane. This was only on day 2 too, imagine what kind of monster he's going to become when he masters using G7.

Let's just hope EA this time doesn't nerf G7 because of Kanae again. (For some reason, if Kanae likes smth in apex, it will get nerf later on or will be put on the care package like prowler, triple take, octane and horizon getting nerfed etc. lol)

They get nerfed because they're actually op.
Triple Take was severely outperforming every other SRs(hence all the recent buffs to them) so they decided to put it in the care package and turn it into a marksman weapon(same reason why G7 can no longer be equipped with a x4&x8 scope).
Horizon was the most broken Legend pre-nerfs due to how her Q almost always guarantees that you get a free battery(due to how fast your mid-air strafes are), immediately get the high ground on all fights without many ways to get punished(fast strafe, can stay there the entire duration), and barely had any cooldown so it can be spammed plus her passive of not being slowed down when falling at a high place which just works extremely well with her tactical. Her ult had bugs and all but with or without it, it was a solid ult that had its uses on certain situations unlike say, Lifeline's ult.
Octane(who is Kanae's long time main) got majorly buffed to the point where he warranted a nerf to his Q but even after the nerf, he's still a very relevant Legend in the meta. It's not all dark days for Kanae and he's definitely not the main reason why the nerfs happened.

It honestly used to be so many times better. Back when mastiff was the meta and before Kanae started using snipers like the triple take, he was a fking god with the wingman and flatline. His raw aim was incredible, I don't know why Kanae thinks Kuzuha was a lot better than him at infighting (close range). That's when he played pretty much every day though.

@@XLEZZY_REUPLOADS i think it was more Kuzuha's reflex aiming which made him good at catching enemies jumping around a corner indoors or doing dome fights. Kanae has the better character control and movement. Kuzuha's infighting could probably be compared to Ratna Petit's (who can beat both Kinako and Alelu in dome fights in the Firing Range).
