Its good that they finally have custom matchmaking. But the fact that a fighting game from the year 2023 didn't launch with such a basic feature might be one of the saddest things I've ever seen in gaming.

You know whats really fucked up? They give you the option to turn on or off spectator mode [ I don't know who the hell would turn off spectator mode ] but they don't give you the option to turn the emotes? What the fuck!?
Online has mostly been for me. But I'm on PC.
Also it was easiest to find matches via VS Team or Single set to same region and broad settings.
Also I think the emote button is pretty funny. A full lobby of people reacting and seeing multiple reeactions durring a fight is entertaining
We should have been waived the game off when they didn’t have this on launch. Just maybe they would take a hint we don’t support it but yet these guys will keep praising bare minimum

The mentality you have is exactly why they don’t care enough to release an actual finished product. Adding a feature to invite your own friends to play with you is not fixing lol

The way that it released covered how ass the netcode is. This is why fighting games have betas

also I've had a couple of battles today and my online matches have all gone very smoothly. I've honestly suffered no issues at all which is surprising =)

@wick9368 I do via pirating it but I know cc2 enough to tell you that they'll do bare minimum and don't fix anything until that next dlc comes out even if I didn't own it doesn't mean I can't calculate the date of patches or dlc.

Hate that you can’t select random characters when playing custom match, Storm 4 had it and as always, they took a step back. Now you have to choose preset or create one everytime you wanna swap to different characters.

Couch co-op was present at launch already, in Free Battles. You need 2 controllers tho.

both of you use VPN? most of the times it's the router ports, i can play with some people great and other very bad, and it's not the other connection problem

Storm 4's was way superior, If i wanted ranked or playermatch, I could select from the available rooms in the list, same with Endless. Now it's russian roulette on all modes unless I make a lobby with 'friends', I don't have any that play connections. This is so bad.

I don't understand the pro-armor argument. Why should a player be rewarded with just pressing a couple of buttons? The KNJ window is a good point, but that's not going to make spammers think twice when they can throw out jutsus without thinking twice.
Playing Devil Advocate for Armored Jutsu ALOT players will mash you to death..prime example of this is Neji+⭕️ ⭕️⭕️⭕️ so it’s fair game if someone decides to use rasengan

You guys, all half of you guys do is throw shuriken every 2sec & or spam a projectile jutsu!! Was in rank & everyone is using Sasukes teleportation me into black flames. Game is such a spam fest!

Storm connections was a lazy cash grab and all it has going for it is pretty animations
@@Zee-bx4ns I won't play that trash, you can't even deal damage in combat with normal combos and the combat is floaty asf, the roster size is small, etc. Connections is perfection tho, much better than that cashgrab game.

Tbh, if they delayed the game to October 2024, we would've launched with customs as well as Hagoromo, Borushiki, Kawashiki, Isshiki, and Kurenai. The DLC roadmap feels like they really needed the extra time to squeeze in those characters. It's most likely Bamco's fault tho due to the rush for Naruto's anniversary. Idk bout y'all, but I'd rather a finished and polished product be released, than having to wait for customs, etc. I really hope we get more DLC characters than just these 5, Maybe Shizune, Chojuro, any of the Boruto era Genin (Shikadai, Inojin, Chocho, Iwabe, etc)

worked for me and a ton of others. ran a few tournaments just fine.
