I like this ribbing. I also like the cast-on side as the right side of the knitting because it looks like a chain and also the collar of the pullover instruction is always written to cast off on the right side of the knitting and it looks like the beginning of the ribbing. I always cast on the ribbing even number and I start with the knit stitch. I do not knit or purl the first stitch. When I sew the pieces together (both pieces right side facing me) it does not show where the seam is sewn.
OH I have been doing it wrong on an other pattern and your instructions make it so clear! Up to down in the back loop! Now I can make the toque pattern! Thank you!
Thank you so, sooo much for sharing this pattern. It's become my favorite border pattern for scarves, and, other patterns. I have been requested to make a scarf for my sister. When she saw this border one day, she fell in love with it, too. Thank you again.
I love this stitch! I’ll soon be starting a KAL and I get to choose my own pattern stitches. This is going to be my border stitch! It’s very easy and addictive. I like the opposite side as the right side. I like that little twist it creates at the edge, I used the long tail cast on, I think you used the same one.
I found your site a few months ago and am watching the new ones and the old ones. I love this rib. You explain everything so well and your videos are so clear. Thank you so very much. I have managed to convert some of them to work in the round and it works out beautifully. You are my go to site when I make almost anything. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 💗 💕 💕 💗 💕 💕 💗

Hi! I'm knitting this border for a baby cardigan top-down. What do you recommend to knit before starting the border? I mean after the design how to continue toward the border? I hope my question is clear. Thank you! I'll be waiting for your answer. Graciela
Very beautiful! I just had a question (the subtitles don't appear correctly). Do I need to do the last two lines? Ex: if I want to make this bar and then the rice stitch, how do I do it? Do I finish these lines and start the rice stitch? Or do I need to do the last two lines? Thank you!
Is there any possibility your knit stitch can be incorporated in to continental method? Please don't laugh as I am a beginner with hopes of learning knitting from you. I am a strong crocheter.
Thank you!! SO SO much for doing this in English. It was your gift to all of us not speaking your language.. Again thank you.

long tail cast on
@@knitwithme thank you so much!!
Can this pattern work for a scarf as well besides a border?
thank you very much dear, very helpful. It's a very pretty rib design. You.re so sweet always welcoming everyone to you're channel. love the little welcome 😊💜💖xx have a really beautiful day knit with me love Zinda
thanks Zinda you are so sweet too have a happy happy day.
Awww thank you dear for saying i am sweet too bless you. You're are a very nice lady. Happy day dear xx 💓
How do i knit this stitch if I knit round and round…(circle)?
Thanks you.
Thanks a lot
Most welcome 🤗
Is it possible to have written inateuctions
does row 3 start with a slip and then K,P,K,P ?
Yes. Always slip the first stitch on every row that gives you smooth edge.
And for other Stitches you knit through the back loop for the knit Stitches and purl as regular on purl Stitches
Thank you very much.
With this border and the pattern how many stitches would I need if I wanted to make it into a throw blanket?
Hi! I'm knitting this border for a baby cardigan top-down. What do you recommend to knit before starting the border? I mean after the design how to continue toward the border? I hope my question is clear. Thank you! I'll be waiting for your answer. Graciela
Sorry I m bit confused .you mean on the bottom of the cardigan? Where Border should goes
@@knitwithme yes😀. Between the design and the border, what do you advise when the work begins from the top. Graciela
Thank you
It is easy and simple

You can do both but if you knit the last 2 rows that gives nice look to your pattern and Border.
@@knitwithme Thank you very much and congratulations for the beautiful work!
Beautiful ribbing. I'll work this design for a baby cardigan. Thank you!🌹Graciela
