You know what's really scary? That I could actually believe Johannes that he's an enslaver. He's so talented actor and he gives everything into what he does. Like at 2:26 or 3:35 for example. With that maniac expression on his face and whip in his hands I would be frightened for real. It gives me goosebumps to see him like that.

One of the reasons I love Avatar is the fact they do not seem to take themselves too seriously, especially as demonstrated by the album Avatar Country. Their music being unique, diverse, and overall amazing helps significantly too.

Love them to bits, one thing I really love is the fact in all their videos each of the band members have their own equal part unlike most bands that mainly concentrate on the lead singer :) plus they are amazing live! cant wait till they are back in England

Never heard of this band until I saw them 2 days ago at Masters Of Rock and man was I blown away with the music, professionalism and showmanship. A new favorite band for me, that singer has combined styles from several frontmen to create a very energetic and sinister character. I really like it.

I feel so dumb. I have been a diehard metal fan for 20+ years and never gave these guys a second thought. Heard the name a few times, but never looked into them. I'm ashamed of myself.
On another note. I have my favorite bands, Metallica, Breaking Benjamin, Dream Theater, Lamb of God, etc. and they've been my favorites for years. I never even considered the possibility that a band could come along and unseat those bands. But only after a week of listening to Avatar, I think this might be my favorite band of all time. Is that weird?
Same, I was at Metaltown back in 2012, AVATAR where there, but i did not see them... I discovered the band afterwards thanks to a Metaltown day x recap. It the dawned on me, what i had missed out on.

This song is very good, as are many of Avatar's songs. I'm enjoying 'Silence in the age of Apes' seeing as Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari inspired it.

I fell in love with these guys with the Black Waltz album. I was so young back then, my hearing was so good. I was so impressionable and immersed by exploring music and finding wonderful new artists. But nowadays i am partially deaf...I no longer understand the vocals or the low-mid range dB's...I feel so empty listening to music let alone just life around me now. But I will always love this song.

Saw these guys live back when they were just starting out. By far the BEST concert I went too. They were at a small hole in the wall here in Kansas (Aftershock) and they made me feel like my anxiety just all went away. Love them and would love to go see them again!
