Matsusaka Gyu is the best! Even though I'm Japanese (born and raised), I've never eaten it. It's so rare and expensive. So glad Mike enjoyed it. Thank you for introducing it to your TH-cam community.
well this video wasn't shot now, I think he was in Japan shortly before Corona arrived in Japan on the Ship and before it became a world wide pandemic, so of course he wasn't all to concerned about someone coughing next to him.

In so many of these videos I notice the people are late 70's, early 80's and so knowledgeable. Is this being handed down to younger generations? I certainly hope so.
earliest Ive ever been. Man theres no comparison to a home cooked Japanese meal. Im glad my mom and dad live close by where we have a home cooked meal for dinner for our entire family
Imagine being super hungry and sitting next to Mike eating his bento boxes. The whole experience around the Matsusaku meal was incredible. Seeing the hospitality and contentment of the older Japanese people was wonderful, so humble with a quiet pride. The Matsusaka fellow was amazing and it’s so great to see respect of good, fresh home grown food being maintained. Its so beautiful how they present food to highlight its pure qualities.
Thank you for being you! Its obvious you love teaching and letting others experience different cultures and foods through your experiences! Especially now, I feel we need more people with your mentally. A positive presence and to learn more about cultures that some may not have experienced yet in life. Something like this has to go on my bucket list. Staying in the countryside with farmers, trying local foods, literally farm to table... It's so beautiful. And don't worry Mike, we like you AND the food!
I love Japan. Their culture, foods, places to go. All of it is awesome, what makes it better is how kind their people are. They care about the environment, accept others, forgive others , go out of their way to help people etc... The world needs more places like Japan, maybe then we could achieve world peace. SKI MASK at least you can visit a different time. Japan wont be the same if you visited in the summer bc of the 2020 olympics so it will be jam pack filled with so many tourists that you wont get the true japan experience.

The way they treat their visitors in Japan are so nice. When I was an exchange student in US all I got from my host family are frozen chicken wings and ramen noodles. And they forced me to go to church with them. What a shame.
