The best Bond in history.
Exactly, Look I loved Daniel Craig in the role as well, but the difference is that Craig literally admitted that “he was done with the role” and wanted to “move on from it”(just check his interviews post Skyfall release), this leads presume that even though he was excellent as Bond, he wasn’t AS passionate as Pierce was when playing the role….even though this is marginal, let’s be honest, Pierce was literally natural at the role throughout (and even wanted to do more movies before the morons at the studio decided to recruit another actor!) . And let’s not forget the mid to late 90s when NONE of us had smartphones and some of us had AOL, we ALL played Goldeneye on N64… taking account of all these factors , I conclude that Pierce was and still is the best James Bond as he had a significant influence in our adolescent development and strong imprint in our minds as a result.
@@richr905 Craig just doesn't feel like Bond like Pierce does. He's not ferocious enough. He doesn't seem very dangerous.
He's always failing missions. The bad guys seem to ALWAYS get away. He has no gadgets. His girlfriends are always dying. He cries more than any other bond.
Where as Pierce gets any woman he wants. Kills anyone who gets in his way. Did Craig ever rampage through Moscow in a tank just to stop a henchman from getting away? Did Craig ever single handedly destroy armies? I don't think so...

@@Minnesota_Central Lol Craig is not "ferocious" enough? Or dangerous enough? The opening of Casino Royale alone introduced us to just how brutal Craig's Bond was going to be.
@@Minnesota_Central It seems that you have to watch Daniel Craig's movies again. I can pass on the topic of his girlfriends but saying that he is not dangerous or ferocious enough is ridiculous and even more so knowing all the deaths he caused throughout the saga, plus as well mentions he did it without the need to use so many gadgets.

@@DucFenrir Oui il serait parfait en Bond! En 2006 pour Casino Royale, Henry Cavill était à 2 doigts d'être cast pour le rôle de Bond, mais Craig a eu le rôle, je regrette rien avec Craig et pour moi Craig a fait un boulot extraordinaire en Bond.
Le prochain Bond devrait être encore + sombre que Craig, Brosnan et Dalton. Les prochains films bont devraient s'inspirer des films comme John Wick Rated R, Mission Impossible avec encore + de stunts et le réalisme de Jason Bourne. Par contre on ne veut pas de shaky cam comme les films Bourne et Quantum of Solace..
j'ai entendu dire que Aaron Taylor Johnson est le prochain Bond, mais il y a un gros débat entre lui et Henry Cavill.
Beaucoup disent que Connery est le meilleur Bond, mais pour moi Connery est trop surcoté. Daniel Craig et Pierce Brosnan sont les meilleurs. Timothy Dalton est aussi un des meilleur Bond et beaucoup mieux que Connery.. Sinon Au Service Secret De Sa Majesté est un des meilleur film Bond.

...to me Pierce and Sean were the best. I'd put Daniel and Timothy also tied, but for second. Roger would be a close third...and Lazenby obviously last as he only managed the one.
The reasoning that I have for those ratings would be; Connery and Brosnan had all the checks of a great Bond, looks and sex appeal, humor and wit...yet could be ice cold when needed to be. Both also can carry a sophisticated tone about them.
Craig and Dalton endure all the same qualities as the first two, however fall a little flat in personality and humor. Now some argue that these two follow the books the closest, but I would say that the movies have always moved the Bond character a little differently and that's ok. The odd bit is though, I had always thought Dalton was a little 'stiff' but seeing him 'post Bond'...he's actually quite a funny guy.
Roger was kind of like Sean and Pierce, but a little too 'over the top' at times. Still I think his portrayal was very good.

@@kyleday5026 Goldeneye is the best one hands down, then I would go with The World is not Enough, Tomorrow Never Dies then I'd say Die Another Day as they were starting to goof up the series too much. Brosnan still hold his own I think though.

@@kyleday5026 Some of the stunts were a bit wild even for Bond like the parachute scene and the gun fire exchange on the frozen lake with Bond and Diamond Face (I can't recall his character name Zang maybe?), the music video style editing... a lot of little things just made it seem a little 'goofy'. Almost a polar opposite to the masterpiece that was Goldeneye.

Pierce Brosnan 1953- Was A Fantastic James Bond Starting In Goldeneye 1995 Then In Tomorrow Never Dies 1997 The World Is Not Enough 1999 And Finally Die Another Day 2002! Pierce Brought His Own Of Polish And Class To The Role! Always Liked Him As James Bond One Of The Best!🤵♂️🕴🔫🚘🚗🇬🇧🇮🇪

After Roger Moore the worst Bond. No way he comes close to Connery and Craig who by far portrayed the best 007’s.
Literally the most boring Bond of the whole lot. Craig was the worst, but Pierce is just so blah
Pierce. So much better than Timothy. Sorry, Timothy. Definitely one class with Roger. And Daniel.
Only Sean is better, because his personal appearance was 100% in times of only analogue tech with its limited possibilities. As an actor, though, Pierce is a Millimeter better than Sean. But Sean is more joy to watch.
