- They say if you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere. So naturally, we had to make Guerrilla Bars in New York… because now theoretically we’re good to make them anywhere else we happen to find ourselves in the future 😂 Naw real talk though- NY is an incredible city and an ENERGY unto itself. We didn’t make it over to the South Bronx on this trip, but regardless, being so close to the birthplace of hip-hop always evokes a certain feeling in me, and makes me want to elevate my bars to the highest level. To quote one of my all-time favorites: “Nothing’s equivalent to my New York state of mind”. BIG FACTS!! Shout out to all the dope people who caught a vibe with us. As a dude in my 30s very few things move me to tears, but watching this dude blow up over the past couple years and hit the world stage but CONTINUE TO PERFORM ON THE SIDEWALK has me leaking right now. Watching harry is like watching the epitome of human dedication manifested. Seeing this dude continue to improve week after week and month after month has me hella motivated to pursue my own talents and to never give up. Dudes brain must be constantly 3 moves ahead. It must take insane talent to do this. When they give him the words I try to think what might go with them and he blows me away every time. His brain is, you have to be more then 3 moves ahead. He drops the beats himself and goes hip hop style beats, which allows him to be more moves ahead because of how easy the flow switch up is. Instead of filler words you can slow it down, to process the next moves then attack. His filler is his name that he uses way to much, but the content is still good. Id like a temple switch I wanna see a freestyle on a Travis Scott beat which the temple is weird…. Coming from a freestyle specialist

As an old Hip Hop head from the 80's, I am just smiling at how far hip hop has come and how every one of these young people recognize, connect, and vibe with a clear hip hop talent. Not sure someone could have strolled through Central Park in 1988 and ask groups of people to freestyle rap from them and got many yes's. Hip Hop is truly universal now.
