I'm a local, about an hour out, and the Voyage is 100% worth it. It's just unrelenting and feels like it goes on forever. If you can, I recommend the Holiwood Nights event where they run the rides until midnight. They turn off the midride trim brakes and the second half is even crazier.
I'm still impressed since I've seen the first video of the Voyage! And it's even more impressive when noticing that the trim/block-brake is almost ground-level at that point ... and as you said: after that it takes up so much speed again! wow!
I absolutely love your videos. I started watching them with my students waaaaay back when X was opening at SFMM. When it rained, the football team got the gym and we'd have to stay in the band room. I think it was the discovery channel, or something like it. I just loved your excitement, enthusiasm, and knowledge about these amazing rides and the parks where they're located. Thank you for making me, and my students so happy.
Thanks for this! Voyage is my favorite all time ride and more people should know about holiday world. It’s privately family owned and they take great care of their rides
Good to see Robb doing well. I was a big participant on the forums when they started up. Voyage ran really well last year! But Legend was running INSANE.
I went there for the first time last June. Raven was unfortunately closed, but the other two were outstanding, especially The Voyage. That is my favorite wooden roller coaster unless you count Lightning Rod at Dollywood as a wooden coaster or not.
Voyage is amazing. It was new when I rode and the track was pristine. BUT (people will hate this) by the time the train in entering the midway finale, I’m done. It could have ended there. I never thought I’d say, it may be too long. Lolol. It accomplished everything “the beast” claimed and more
The guy in this video was annoying... "90 degrees!!" Capt. Obvious says this three times.... I've ridden roughly 50-60 different rollercoasters in my life and not one time did I ever announce the angle of a turn like a TV meteorologist on cocaine.
I've always wanted to go to Holiday World just for the Voyage. Thanks for the POV's, Rob!
We all do lol

The Voyage looks incredible. Kind of insane that the midcourse slows it down and then the speed picks back up through the tunnel.

Voyage is a terrain coaster the first half is going up hill and the midcourse is higher than the station
It’s a triple-down after the brakes. When I first rode it, they were barely up. It flew thru the rest of the ride.
Three old-school woodies in one park? That's on my list now for sure! Thanks Robb! :)
Wouldn’t exactly call em all old school, but they’re awesome!
@@huntzzio Haha... mid-school then? ;) Forget labels though, as you note they do look awesome! Gotta ride 'em someday. :)
From the looks of things, it seems like The Voyage is HAULING this year! Nice.

The Voyage is, without a doubt, The Gravity Group's magnum opus roller coaster. The thing is just insane.
all i can say is wow to the voyage.....wow! A+++++
Wow, The Voyage looks absolutely epic! Does it have as much airtime as it looks like it does? Amazing! x
Yes! Night is the best time to ride as they turn off the trims for a crazy experience
the backseat pov is fukin ridiculous....loved it...🎉
I really want to try the Raven, anymore I get so anxious on roller coasters, but it looks so fun.
No twists, no loops, absolutely amazing rides.

Evil question: If you were forced to build an RMC in Holiday World, what would it be?
Steel vengeance, the RMC at Cedar Point
i wonder if anyone has ever yelled at rob to shut up on a roller coaster lol
Well considering we record our videos before or after the park operating hours… 🤷♀️
