My ideal schedule would be 10 SEC games with FSU & Miami as the yearly non conference games. I’d take 9 SEC game schedule as well with a yearly Fla Cup.
Let's just open the playoff to 16 teams then no one can complain they weren't good enough. (Not being serious)

Idk who said it but it makes sense. Our most important or telling game could be Texas A&M. They have a new coach think we at home. Miami will tell us a lot about who we are but if we lose to A&M that will tell us everything we need to know about Billy.

@@Terrance3500wayyy more talented on defense this season. Entire new coaching staff on that side of the ball as well. On offense we lost Etienne and picked up Badger and some other guys so that’s about a wash. If we had a defense last year we win 7 games MINIMUM. There are a lot of reasons to think Florida will make a bowl game next season
Hard time convincing me that a Utah team w out their QB & TE is a better team than this years Miami.
We were just that bad and beat ourselves
That team on the road is a better team than Miami at home IMO and I think this year’s UF is better in game one than last year’s in game one. Much better situation to me.
What is so great about this year’s Mia team?
They’ve won nothing, lots a lot on Defense, lost their best OL to the Draft and Big Dumb Mario holds back QBs and Offenses.
They’ve gone 12-13 the past two seasons vs poor competition as well.
@@barrone71 unfortunately for us , what they have done the last two years is irrelevant. They are loaded with talent they have been buying from HS & portal for last two years. Similar to what we have done but obviously acquiring higher end talent and more of it due to Mr Ruiz deep pockets. Compare the two rosters of Utah & mia and u will see. Last two seasons Mario has been playing w what he had ,I expect a jump but would love to b wrong
I agree Mario isn't a good coach but that team is dangerously talented

To me it starts Game 1 at Home vs scUM.
IF Napier/Fla can’t beat an ACC team that’s gone 12-13 the past two years and lost a lot of starters from last year, they aren’t going to win a lot of games.
scUM is at best the 8th best team on the schedule.

Napier will find a way to win 3-4 games and lose to UCF at home. Won’t have much of a choice after that.

@@Nobodycares678last season we signed 2 top 5 players. No other team signed 2 players in the top 10. Average player ranking we were top 5, we just only recruited 20 players because our team was already so young. You’re looking at numbers way too much.
Will hoping for certainty when the most likely is us winning 6-7 seems overly optimistic. Napier will scrape together 5/6 wins and get another year, primarily because our AD can’t afford to fire him
That will be enough to tell us tbh. If he wins 6. The recruiting + the glimpse at Lagway will tell us whether to have hope, fire him or extend him to see Lagway mature
Napier and Lagway are a package deal. We haven’t pulled in recruits rated this high since urban. We have nothing to lose by keeping Napier another year or two. Firing Napier isn’t going to do anything besides put us on the 7th coaching search in 15 years
Will, You have to remember that Billy is calling plays. That will cost Florida at least 2 games they should win....No 8-4!!!!
Exactly. As long as Napier is calling plays, I will never see a reason to get excited. Dude calls plays like his mind is stuck in the Sunbelt lol
Re watch the film. Play calls were mostly good just player mistakes, and not consistent play makers a few yeah but many pass play calls WRs couldn’t get separation. O line is allowing pressure. Qb unsure whether just to take a shot downfield so dump it off. Watch the film. The narrative billy is a bad play caller is tired, that’s the least of our worries. Defense and special teams is main concern we lost games we scored 30+ in. We have badger, dike, graham, Montrell all seniors starting this year as well as Wilson, Webb, and mizell underclassman. Offense will put up points question is can I defense stop allowing points and I think they will with asa turner, pup Howard, and Joey slackman automatically makes this defense better by themselves with Ron Roberts help

@BrianKorth-nu7gw it means boring and not creative with basic WR routes being run. Very pedestrian and predictable. On top of that clock management is atrocious
