so how do i do a first initial charge without a bms? i cant just hookup a ctek charger right? do i connect to smart bms then hook up a charger to each battery one at a time or?
I would strongly recommend a Victron charger such as the IP65 series as it gives you more control. Also because the charger is Victron the presets for the charge algorithms are already set to Victron parameters which mades it easy. You can do this before connecting to the external BMS.
