You can tell it is Grosjean and not Magnussen just by the fact that he looks into the mirror once in a while
Magnussen uses his mirrors alot, to know on which side he needs to push the opponent off track.

I think the camera is too much in the way to do that, it would be unsafe. Thats why they only do installation laps.

This is probably the best one I’ve seen so far it doesn’t focus as well as some of the other ones but it’s got really good eye level positioning. Oh man I wish the F1 games came stock like this. But you can just change it yourself.
How the heck the drivers are able to drive properly with this vertical bar just in the middle of the frontal view?
Because they have 2 eyes so that vertical bar seems gone. Like how your brains ignore your nose because you have 2 eyes.
Yeah, because all humans are built like cyclops where something directly in front of their singular eye completely blocks their vision.
For testing F1 with halo in vr, yeah, you don't see the bar. However, it's more complicated when you climb a hill, like the Raidillon at Spa. You don't see the top of the corner, because of the horizontal bar.
You took ''can't see the forest for the trees'' or ''tree'' to a whole new level...

They purposely blur it out, as it has sensitive information that the teams really dont wanna reveal. The FIA knows this, and so they blur it out, so the team doesnt get an unfair disadvantage from information being revealed.

That's what I thought at first too, but everything else around the steering wheel - even the hands of the driver - is quite a bit clearer than the wheel itself. It is not surprising for them to blur it, since the teams are known for not wanting others to have a close look at their steering wheels, because of the different buttons and data shown on it.

I definitely would’ve, especially on a circuit he usually does well at-especially in my hometown (I’m a Montrealer). I got a live view, BTW, and let me tell you, SMOKE was COVERING the pit lane for a good 30 seconds to a minute
Giuliano di Staulo why would you be mad at the Haas team? One, they don't know what the issue was. They replaced most of the engine inbetween FP3 and Quali since it something was appearing wrong, they just don't know what. Two, its a Ferrari engine. If you're going to be mad at anyone, (not that you should be) be mad at Ferrari.
This is why the F1 video games need to support VR. He's looking at all the apexes, looking at his marks well before he get to them. Great raw vid. Nothing fancy. Just pure driving.👍
