The dining room looks beautiful, the food does look good. I do think charging for a second entry is a bit much, considering the portion size is small. Thanks for a great video. Always look forward to them. Takecare folks
Nice video as always, thanks. If I could offer a small suggestion - could you hold for a second or two at the end of each menu page? When trying to pause the video to read the menu, it's pretty hard to catch the end 0:33 because it instantly flips to the next menu page 😁
Thank you very much! 😊 The reason why I didn't continue scrolling the menu there is because those entrees are available every night, and you can see them in Part 1 (the menu & the food for those everyday items).
Another great video. I thought that the food in general looked pretty good and it wasn't all pasta. I thought that in general, the appetizers and the desserts looked up to par with other lines. The entrees seemed to be more hit and miss. At this point, there are few cruises on MSC that are convenient to us. However, I have feeling that I would be willing to go on one of their cruises is I could get a casino deal like several of my friends have. What's your next cruise going to feature? Inquiring minds want to know.😀
Thanks JL! 😊 Agree with your assessment- the entrees weren't as good as in part 1, but still several good ones & many apps & desserts were tasty. For sure MSC is worth checking out if you can get a casino deal or a good rate. We're usually more of last minute cruisers, so yeah don't know yet what our plans are for the next cruises, though we do like to try different lines.
Your videos are excellent, and Mrs. Joanne's reviews are concise and complete. I appreciate her objective comments. My only suggestion--spend more time on the actual menu listings; I did not have time to read, especially the entrees. The way you spliced the entree and dessert sections seemed to cut part of the entree section out. Thank you for your work--I know it takes away from your family's personal experience.
Thank you very much- glad you enjoyed it! 😊 The reason why I scrolled the menus faster seemingly skipping some entrees is because those were everyday dishes already shown in part 1 of this 2 part series. But I should've explained it better at the beginning of this video. Thanks for the feedback!
I think there was more disappointing food this time. I would have had the onion soup, not sure what else. Too much I wouldn't try because eye appeal was not there for me. Joanne is so sweet, love her expressions when the food is not up to par. That orange dress and her different jewelry was on point. Love your channel.
Agree that there were a few more dishes that weren't up to par in this one, and the plating wasn't as good. Though they still had some good entrees. Thank you very much Kathy for the compliments! 😊
Curious about how the dining works for the main dining room. You mentioned that you can only order 1 entree, or pay extra for a second entree. What about appetizers and dessert? Are you allowed to order multiple appetizers?
Excellent video as always. I’m somewhat amused that Joanna was not impressed with a few of the dishes. She doesn’t even need to speak. That sweet face says it all. (Craving tiramisu right now!). Off topic: On Italian Night, the gentleman in the pink shirt behind you. His head was way too shiny. Distracting. Please inform your “extras” to have either hats or hair on their heads (I’m balding also!).
Thank you very much Brad! 😊 Yeah all the tables were very close to one another, so we'll have to watch out for those guests with shiny heads next time lol 😏
@@Beachdudeca I think all their pasta dishes are that size as a main course in the main dining room. I had a different pasta dish on Meraviglia last year and it was the same portion size.
Please give more time on the main course menu before transitioning to desert. There isn't even enough time to pause playback. Try reading through the menu at current speed to see how fast you switch to desert.
Thanks for the feedback! The reason the speed on the menu is a bit faster here is because the common items menu was already shown in part 1, but will look to slow it down for the next one.
They showed menu items offered daily on part one. Showing them over and over is redundant but I see the first night they did show the whole menu on this video. The ones you don’t see are recurring every night.
@@TravelTouristVideos The speed is fine except for the transition time between scrolling to the bottom of the entrees and transitioning to desert. I don't even need lots of time on the regular items, but please make sure there's time between the last daily special to allow for a pause.
Are you a professional food critic or do you just do this while traveling? My husband is an executive chef and puts his everything into his dishes. Im telling you I would be really upset and offended if you came to his restaurant and acted like everything was mediocre. This is a huge cruise ship feeding many people and I think they are doing a good job. You are very disrespectful towards people's livelihood and crafts..... Too much sauce not enough sauce for example. Can't you just be thankful like all the other Good foodies. I appreciate people's opinions but you just seem hard to please
No not at all- just a fellow tourist giving honest opinions about the food. We really appreciate all the hardworking cooks & chefs, and know that taste is subjective, such as the amount of sauce.
This is the best video I have ever seen of any food review ever! So good thank you for doing this for us!
It's our pleasure! Thank you very much- we're happy to hear that! 😊
Since we can only have one complimentary meal per night I have picked
out all 14 of my dinner based on your videos. 🐸😀
Glad the videos are helpful to help you pick out the mains! Though some of the nights it's probably worth it to pay $5 for a second one.
you probably have the best cruise food review on TH-cam.
Thank you! 😊
I always enjoy these videos. Thanks for being careful to grab the details on the menus.
Our pleasure! 😊 Glad you enjoy them- thanks for the comment!
It is very generous of you to make such thoughtful videos. Joanne is always on point with her style. 😊
Thank you very much- it's our pleasure! 😊
Enjoyed the video very much...looking forward to the next one .🤗
Yay! Thanks Vickie! 😊
Thank you soooo much for this video! I was able to decide which nights to use my specialty dining package instead!

I love what you're wearing.
Thank you! 😊

Thanks George! 😊 Yeah at first we were taken aback by that $5 charge, but considering the low price for the cruise it wasn't a big deal.
Nice video as always, thanks.

Thank you very much! 😊 Got many of them on Amazon: amzn.to/3ZjlLjs

Do they have music dancing at the main dining like Carnival does?
Yeah they sure did at the final night which was Italian themed.

As many appetizers & desserts as you'd like with no extra charge, though for main entrees it would be $5 beyond the first.
@@TravelTouristVideos thank you for the information. Safe travels and I look forward to future videos
I am wondering how many entrees and main dishes and desserts we can eat?

Hello family!
Hi Angela! 😊
would the menu slower to be able to read the selection
You're probably referring to the available every day portion of the menu, which is scrolled slowly in Part 1 🙂
That clams pasta was sad. Their quality check was poor, I'm sure the dish is supposed to have more sauce and clams
Agree that pasta & clam on the last night was more like a small plate
@@Beachdudeca I think all their pasta dishes are that size as a main course in the main dining room. I had a different pasta dish on Meraviglia last year and it was the same portion size.
Yeah that was a miss for sure, but they did have some other pretty good dishes.
What ship were you on?
This was on the Meraviglia
