There are other reasons zigzag connected transformers might be used, but I decided not to go over these in the video since I thought it was long enough already.
Been trying to understand zig-zags and NGRs. Just found your channel and hopeful this will help me get it and it looks like there's a lot of great stuff on your channel. Can't wait
It's all fun and games until you somehow lose the star point. One third of your room full of stuff doesn't notice, one third shuts down, and the last third goes BOOM.
how about triplet harmonic affects for a zigzag connection. Im pretty sure its purpose is not solely load balancing. Btw its often called grounding transformer or grounding bank. There has to be some analysis for short circuit situation etc. Please reply
Quick question, do you have an idea what the line to line voltages would look like? I suspect near the peak, due to the added phase shift they would have a wiggle instead of the sinusoidal shape we're all used to. Or if you know of someone who measured one with a scope, that would be ideal. Thanks

It is the most detailed and efficient explanation about ZigZag Connection in THE INTERNET. Thank you Dear AKIOTV
The best explanation I have heard so far. Thx
Very, very well explained. Thank you for putting that together!
Exceptionally well explained video, thanks!

Good job man , I really need ur help do u have reference explain zig zag transformer as a grounding tranformer
good explanation.
Very good explanation
this is obviously above my understanding
these vids always help with my revision and research…thanks 🙃
np
Great video, thanks for posting.
dude i understood it in one go THANKS MAN
Excellent explanation, mate!
Very, very well explained. Thank you!!
Everything very well explained. Thanks!
just what I needed.thanks, man

The line voltage is still just a sine wave
Thank you it was quite helpful
Solid video thanks!
fantastic vid.
Hi bro. How are you. I want to know how to do the magnetic core balance test for this arrangement. What will be result ? Can you explain
result will be 5 bro
Good video.
