I loved this game, but the ending just made me feel so mad. Its been two games, fighting in order to protect and save a sweet innocent child, watching thousands of people dying, thinking there was a chance for salvation, but at the end everything was a lie and in vain.
how is it possible? it would have been better just to kill Hugo as soon as they knew that he had the macula? I thought Crisis core was a depressing ending, but this was just another level...

They had to try. Ik this game went too metaphorical but even Amnesia said if there's even a percent chance that we can save him, she'll choose those odds.
But at least Hugo knew Amnesia tried till the end, Hugo's death was not suffering from pain due to Alchemist's alchemy but self decision and self realisation. That even Amnesia got to learn that it has to be done. 😢😢
