No, this system was designed to work with the Flowmaster exhaust system. Connecting it to the factory system would require some modification to the kit.
It was designed to work with the Flowmaster axle back systems but it is possible. There might have to be some modification to get it just right, but it should not be a big deal to accomplish.
This kit was designed for the Manual transmission equipped Camaro's, so no tuning is required for those models. On a Manual transmission car, NO. But if this specific kit was installed on an Automatic transmission car, YES. There is a different version available for the Automatic transmission cars that will have the provisions for the AFM valves.
@LF X This system does not remove or effect the factory catalytic converters at all. The only way this system would cause a check engine light would be if it was installed on an Automatic 16+Camaro SS. The Automatic SS's have AFM valves and if they are removed then it will cause a check engine light.
@LF X The 2016-2020 SS models with the Automatic transmission have the AFM valves. If those valves are removed or unplugged then the check engine light will come on since they are monitored. So this specific X-Pipe will cause that since it is ment for the Manual transmission cars. There is an Automatic version of the X-Pipe that will prevent the check engine light from coming on.
Phastek Performance would there be any mid pipes I could buy that would fit directly. The problem I’m having is that my header connectors are rubbing on the trans brace which in turn makes the exhaust hang a little lower than normal and now my driveshaft tunnel brace dies not fit back in.

@@carlos1LE Unfortunately not. All the mid pipes will have to be cut to fit with all the headers systems.

With our testing we did not experience drone once the kit was installed.

Performance gains would be minimal with just this kit alone. Some additional upgrades would show more gains along with this kit.
