I am greatfull i found you. I just got into the hobby and your playthrous, rewiews, top lists and teaches really help my with picking board games to play. Thank you so much, keep up the great work!!!
This is a really useful and succinct guide to the game! I have literally just received it since I backed it myself, and it looks awesome - all the cardboard tokens for most stuff are now 3D and the skaters all have actual names now. I do find that the skater figures tend to fall over a lot though so the meeples are probably easier! Good job guys
That balance push your luck mechanic is great and ties in really well thematically. Ill echo that it looks like the minis could use a revision for stability and the scoring track is a bit cramped.
Wow, there is a lot going on in this game! 😮 Luckily you are such superb rules teachers, so you make it sound manageable 😁😎👍 Thanks for a great video, I really like that you not only cover already published games, that’s super cool ❤️🙏
Question When you bail do you lose half of your total flames or half of what you gained? Also during the trick phase do you only get a free level up if you land?
It seems like this game is a cool little tableau building and using that tableau as resources...but it may also be a bit luck swingy from a perspective of drawing the right trick cards, and having the right rolls at the right time...where if you happened to balance left, and someone else balanced right, a bad roll can greatly impact progress in the game. Thoughts?
This looks interesting, the skater theme isn't something I've seen before in board games which is great. I think the point track is too small for those counters and the little minis, while cool, seem have their own balance issues, but like you said, it is still a prototype, so I'm sure they'll be working on those.
I don’t think the minis have balance issues. I think they were purposely laying the minis down instead of standing them up to give the overhead camera a better view of the minis. They do this in most of their gameplay videos.
Whoa...this looks suuuuper cool! Push your luck being thematically painted as balance in a skateboarding game is a stroke of genius! Has that been done elsewhere? In any case, I really love that, the art, and the gameplay looks fun!
I don’t know much about kickstarters, but I am looking for a game that was a kickstarter to purchase. The game was Noveau France. Is there anything you can tell me of the kickstarter process and how to get games?
so you pledge for a game.. essentially purchasing it. but if the game funds and the company like the amount they got then the game is made. as more money gets funded into thw campaign, they might unlock stretch goals for the board game. so you don't get charged until the end of the campaign.. so lets say a board game is asking for a $60 pledge, you pledge it but u wont get charged till its done. then u get updates on the manufacturing of the game and stuff and at some point you pay shipping and handling.
Thank you for answering. Can you tell me how to get updates -- for one you wished you had!!! LOL. I am looking for a game called Noveau France. They had more than met their goal, but now I would like to see if it's being made, or sold somewhere as I would like to purchase the game.
Game looks interesting, unfortunately earlier campaigns from Pandasaurus have been quite the mess ... Dinosaur World backers are still waiting for what they paid for.
Thank you for this wonderful how to play for Skate Summer! We're so glad you're a part of the campaign!
Thank you so much!!

Will be teaching this game tonight! Once I saw that you two had a how-to play video, I knew I would be ready!

Getting heavy "720" vibes from that game board, any chance a swarm of bees chases you if you take too long on your turn?
LOL!!!

Dope shirt, Naveen
Haha thank you!!
Has to be the 6th time I’ve wondered where I can get the shirt Naveen is wearing. Can we get t-shirt reviews in 2022?
Haha totally agree with Jonathan!!
It's threadless.com my guys! They have a ton of different designs and from what I understand, the artists get a commission when their design is sold.
Ahh true. Do you have an affiliate link so we can support that way? Not sure if they do affiliates or anything like that

Totally! We both thought that was a clever way to translate it to a board game.
@@BeforeYouPlay it really is! I'm impressed

@ 4:08 did you cover over a tattoo?
Time to dust off my board and nail those ollies
did they ever change the cringe trick description, so they made sense.
