I've got one of these, it's done lots of work for me, now going into its 3rd season, many places I go anything v bigger wouldn't get through gates or down the side, it punches above its weight really, only limited by the chute width, wouldn't be without it tho👍
Same here mate, its done great for me, takes up hardly any room in the van as well. One of my best buys in the last few years👌 Anything broke on yours yet?👍
@@RJLmachinery no, I've replaced the blades once as they were passed sharpening anymore, and other than a oil, plug and filter change, it's not needed anything doing to it.
Just ordered one, it's come but it's got a plate at the top of the chute, a safety thing I guess but I'm wondering how anything's going to fit in the hole. None of the videos I've watched have this.
Hi just a quick question as I have been viewing a few videos of these as I have one on order. Do u still use the blades that came with it? As another user review said he didn’t rate the blades much so he made his own. And also do u remember the spark plug u changed out?
Yep i am still on the factory set. They hold up okay, as long as you don't put too much dead wood through them. Cant remember the plug number, it was an NGK though. all you need to do to find one is type the current plug number in online and put cross reference and you should get results.
Finally got my new spark plug for mine, which you recommended. Hopefully now it works better, the one they give you with it is a load of crap. Hope your well mate?
Yep fingers crossed mate that sorts it, mine has ran spot on since i got it. Did break the rubber chute flap the other week😂, already made another 1 for it. I'm good mate, v busy playing catch up after all the shit weather, need to get on the lawns, its growing like mad. Hows you?
@@RJLmachinery Yeah mate i hope it does fix the issue, I need it for a few jobs coming up. Handy being able to make your own repairs, i was lucky i took note at my old job years ago. I have also being playing catch up, weather has been super wet here. Im keeping well mate, trying to balance work life this year! I always work 7 days a week (Season time ) , and have done for 16 years now. Getting back on the push biking again, and taking more holidays with the family. 😎👍
@@thegardeneruk Got to find that work/life balance mate, sod doing 7 days a week 😅. I need to get back on a bike, rode loads growing up, dont wana risk an injury though 😂
@@RJLmachinery Yeah im only working the weekends if its worth doing, end of last year i was knackered. I ride the canals, and also the woodlands keeps me away from roads. I stopped the gym 2 years ago, and really wanna get back into some type of training! so starting with the riding, and maybe gym 2 times a week. First stop, is a chiropractor! full body adjustment...

Sounds like your machine is the MVP of the backyard league-small but mighty, squeezing through tighter spaces than my jeans after the holidays! 😂💪
*The Forest Master FM6DD looks incredibly efficient! Perfect for handling yard work with ease* 👍
Its a great little sized chipper and very handy.
Great little machine
Its a very handy little chipper, most arborists laugh at the little thing 😂

As i only have a small van, this looks perfect for me. Do you recommend it?
Anybody know if it can handle ivy? Thanks
Yeh chips ivy fine, not easy with the small clumpy bits though, this little chipper likes long straight branches etc
