@@kruvikthe bog is visited again for items more than the other areas. the areas suffered a similar art style that made it difficult to distiguish areas and traversing was difficult. Prime 1's areas always popped out at you.
@@kruvik no me too. don't get ne wrong. i love the difficulty. sequels should be harder. i love the atmosphere, the music. Prime 1 was too easy in retrospect. the two worlds is masterfully implemented. it forces you to use your entire arsenal. i just wish they would have made the areas more uniqe considering the travesal of terrain. but it was a massive world they created. i just now have to start memorizing areas. the more i play the more I can distiguish areas. the elevation and portals and morph ball areas, it's going to take 3 playthroughs. the boss fights and game mechanics are utilized and polished. I hope it gets a remaster soon
@@kruvik well, gaming update. since having the light suit, I can go deep into the dark world and explore and With trial and error, i've pretty much scouted out enough of the areas by revisiting them religiously and finding new entries into already visited locations. these short cuts are a so convient while exploring. after I go too long without finding a key, I will use my log book. there's no log book data for missles and energy tanks, so despite my frustration, they made it enjoyable and fun
Man, what an atmospheric track. I love how in the Metroid Prime soundtracks you have the most unconventional sounding instruments and tunes mixed with a choir yet it all works and sounds incredible for a *sci-fi* game.
@@kruvik it's been a treat. I've played through all the classic metroids on the S/Nes, brought a gameboy advance just to play fusion which was amazing. I was really hoping that they release the trilogy on switch but I couldn't wait. So I went & brought a wiiu just to play the trilogy. I've spent a small fortune but it's been worth it.
@@MLWJ1993 I loved playing Metroid Prime 2 for the first time via Dolphin, but I wish there was a way to completely wipe out all the stutters. Still an amazing game though! One of my favorite games!

As someone who is very sensitive to colour and sound, this game tripped me out too hard to clearly make my way through it. I never forget feeling stuck and lost in a murky haze as a child, trying to find my way off this world. I never did :C In a way I think it has the strongest atmosphere of all the prime games, even if it was so heavy it made it hard to play.
Sound Addiktion dude I could not agree with you more. I absolutely felt the same exact way. Just being so distracted and not being able to navigate through the game. I made it pretty far but my game glitched super hard for some reason and wouldn’t allow me to move on. Never found my way off that world either. We’re like the guys Samus saw die in the beginning of the game never being able to leave lol
Hearing this gives me a nostalgic feeling walking out to the temple grounds for the first time hearing this just immersed me even more into the game. Idk Metroid gave me a way better vibe then any halo game
That's because Halo is overhyped garbage. I played through the first one and that was enough for me... still having nightmares about those endless, no-detail grey corridors.
Honestly, I *really* want to see Sanctuary Fortress and the Ing Hive. I have no doubt at this point they'll redo Prime 2 as well, it's just a matter of when.
this music remind me about when i played echoes and i meet the remains of the FG heracle marine team and od the luhminot warriors i felled soo bad for them as i discovert how they meet theirs fate and i always ask "what if i could just have the chance to save them?"
Metroid prime echoes was the hardest game I've ever beaten in my life, hours and hours stuck, not knowing where to go, and to complicate things there are the Dark Aether with nocive atmosphere and full of creepy enemys. The whole game is ghoulish btw.

Metroid OST from prime serie are trully unique and atmospheric. i'm not sure to know many game who got OST with that level of " strange and atmospheric" at same time

I remember getting this game at a clearance at circuit city and this was when I was a kid I was obsessed with Metroid I played them all and had them all but when I was looking at the games in that big pile they always have near the entrance I was like what the fuck since when did they make a Metroid prime 2 this was also way back before the Wii I thought this Metroid prime was pretty good

Oh God, have fun! For me still the best metroid prime on GC. Luckily I have a copy + dolphin emulator. It actually holds up surprisingly well @1440p.

I’m super sensitive to that stuff as well but that’s why I love it so much. The music is fantastic and the environments are really pretty
