Thanks for watching.
Great vid. While not doing the full process…I replaced my 170mm Campy Chorus 12 speed cranks with 165mm cranks today and I used your video as my road guide. Very simple and easy to do. Thanks!
Very good video. I receive my new bike next week with campagnolo Chorus group set.
A thumb up from France 👍🏻👍🏻
since two years on my bike. Totally satisfied!
Thanks. Very detailed and helpful.
I am curious as to your thoughts on greasing the cup threads. Campagnolo advises not to grease as they put that small amount of grease on the cup threads already.
I don't know the reason behind Campagnolo's advice or what grease or compound they put on the cup threads. It's probably a sort of anti-seize compound. Normally, the best practise is to use anti-seize compound. Grease is OK, but not optimal.
Grease should be used for moving parts - thin for fast moving parts like the cassette body, thicker for threads on low-stress screws and nuts. Anti-seize for high stress and high torque assembly.
I use plumbers Teflon tape on the threads...prevents seizing without having to add more grease.
35nM. Only used to BB9O. Knowing pedals go on and hardly need a single nM to tightened amazed how much traditional BB needs so much torque to instal.
Hi. Is that a 24mm axle? I want to replace the campag bb with a Hope one.
Will you do more fittind guide for campag 12 speed groupset?
Yes!
@@FreeToCycle Perfect ! Im looking forward to see them :)
How much NM will be the on the bolt for the crank?
Could not hear it
I've considered campy on a bsa frame but never got around to it but i might go for campy on my next build. I've heard you need a dedicated puller for changing the bearings though.
Yes. Look into the Super-B Ultra Torque bearing installer/removal tool - great toolkit.
Can I mail you to fix a problem that is bugging me for some month now? I'll explain briefly here: basically The square taper cranks on my fixed gear are not symmetrical, the one on the left is comparatively further away from the chainstay than the right one is. I don't understand why and how to fix it. Love the videos and the channel, always full of good contents! 🤘
Just an idea check the bottom bracket shell size. IE.... 68mm or 73mm
It's like a more complicated, less useful, hollowtech system.
Nothing wrong with it? Hirth joint is class
More complicated? No.
@@povertyspec9651well you clearly haven't a clue what you are talking about. 🤣
