FUN FACT: Pigs is actually referenced to the case of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, two people who were school shooters back in 1999. Tyler did a tweet about saying that "They would be cool" blah, blah, blah, on his perspective, rallying people against him because they thought Tyler was saying that they are cool BECAUSE they were school shooters, but I think he was just trying to say how they could've been cool people if they didn't become shooters. This song is basically branched off their actions, which I find cool because it's in a perspective of a school shooter, who in the story is Samuel (Wolf/Tyler's rival).
1:11:04 if you where wondering who that part was referring to it was referring to Earl Sweatshirt. For some reason his mom despised Tyler and sent Earl to a boarding school.
Earl was already screwing up with drugs and stuff outside of that but the EARL music video with Tyler where they drink weird stuff and beat themselves up (fake but realistic looking) definitely didn't help

Each album has its own story. The first 3 albums that Tyler, The Creator made all connect that is him talking to a therapist named Dr. TC. All 3 albums Bastard, Wolf and Goblin (in that chronological order) are connected. Its called the Wolf Trilogy unofficially. In Wolf, Samuel is the main character but also kind of is the antagonist of the album. The setting the album in is at a camp where Wolf (Wolf is the guy in the album in the background with the red inhaler). And Salem is the love interest. Both Wolf and Samuel likes Salem. And the album is also about drug dealing which is why you hear a lot about drugs. You'll have more information in this video since I don't remember it all: th-cam.com/video/CDtfPRu1Mso/w-d-xo.html Also btw, a lot of lyrics that he says throughout his discography (throughout all of the albums he made), may have mentions to Tyler's past like his dad and stuff. Or have lyrics that talk about the story of the album. So most of the time, you probably won't get most the lyrics like you did with the other albums Tyler has made unless you look into the lyrics or listen to the songs again.
2013 was a surreal time for hip hop. It was the time where Tyler got a lot of things opportunities due to his uprising in 2011, then so its a big step up and he got to experiment coming off from his inspirations with Wolf and even more after. Eminem influence got him rapping crazy earlier tho. Ngl tyler was kinda underplaying how much of a creative powerhouse he was
So uh just to tell you man in the wolf trilogy in the wolf album there are around 3-4 characters, the main ones being samuel and wolf. The ither two being dr tc (the therapist) and salem (the chick). Ifhy: samuel, wolf and salem at the end (the next 3 songs are a 3 part story literally just giving more lore for sam.) Pigs: samuel Parking lot: samuel, wolf at the end because samuel found out him and salem have been hanging out. Rusty: samuel Trashwang: literally just all the odd future members rapping (at the end wolf and salem hear the gunshot from samuel shooting earl) Treehome95: Salem singing an unreleased song she originally made for sam but sung for wolf Tamale: wolf basically just masturbating Lone: Wolf talking to dr tc, transition into goblin (for the wolf trilogy) Edit 1: Also forgot to say at the end of rusty it is samuel killing earl as if to threat wolf for stealing salem from him.

Wolf story : So Tyler plays “wolf” who Is basically sent to a camp . He meets a guy named Samuel who was sent there because he started a school shooting which is what “pigs” is about. Samuel sells drugs “48” and has a girlfriend named Salem. Wolf and Salem fall in love even tho Salem has a boyfriend. But Samuel finds out about it btw this whole part of the story takes place in songs ( party isn’t over/campfire/bimmer ) and in “IFHY” Samuel explains how he feels when hearing about the cheating. I love Wolf. It's really special to me. I can understand the appeal of Tyler's previous projects but they always kinda seemed edgy for no reason to me. Like Eminem without the rap skills. Bastard and Goblin sounded like the product of giving an edgy teenager a mic and telling him to go to town. But Wolf kept that edginess while making it have meaning. The dark lyrics feel justified and earned rather than forced and distasteful. And I love Wolf for that. It's my 3rd favorite Tyler album, right under Flower Boy and Igor. And I might just be blinded by nostalgia cause this was the first Tyler album I listened to, but that's not gonna stop me from loving it.

You should react to TennisThom’s video explaining the Wolf trilogy just so that you know what’s going on in the story because it’s actually a pretty entertaining and well structured story. I know it’s not music, but trust me it’s worth the watch
Let me basically explain all of this: Tyler’s first three albums (Bastard, Goblin, Wolf), are a trilogy of a fictional story that is combined with Tyler’s actual self, but just still that fictional type of thing. Chronologically (Supposedly), Wolf happens after Bastard but before Goblin. Wolf is the nickname, and almost name, of Tyler. He was sent to a camp called Flog Gnaw (Golf Wang spelled backwards), by his psychologist, Dr. TC. He meets Samuel, a passive-aggressive dude that keeps beating the shit out of him and making a lot of threats. Later, he founds out he has a girlfriend called Salem, that he alerts Wolf to stay out of her reach. Still, he gives a frick and they meet, then sleeping together and all of that. After Samuel finds out, he tries to go around and kill him but Wolf escapes. After some crazy explanation and background of Samuel, he gets her Salem back and Wolf is just confused. That’s why in Tamale he beats his meat and then in Lone he explains how hard he lived with his mom and sister, and then losing her grandma.
With the rest of the story, we know more about this crazy Marvel-ass story: Tyler has a fictional psychologist called Dr. TC (Which TC stands for Tron Cat and/or Tyler's Consciousness). Bastard is the three sessions that Tyler has after being called by the Principal in his school. In Wolf, Dr. TC tricks Wolf by calling Flog Gnaw a camp, but in reality it's a medical center for mentally ill people. In Goblin, Tyler goes back to the sessions of Dr. TC, but this time we know more about the bad intentions of TC, since it's the bad side of Tyler that convinces him that he needs TC and makes him see good in bad.
Ayyyy let's go, virtual dap up ma boi Edit: Also ye I meant that Goblin is after WOLF in the trilogy but was released before WOLF and Bastard is before WOLF

Goblin - Its difficult to explain but its a mix of Wolf haley, tron cat, and ace.
Bastard has a red album cover, and a blue cover. blue signifies good, and red is bad.
Ace is singing during bastard, and he is the worst version of tyler, hence the red album cover.
Wolf Haley is singing during wolf, and is the best version of tyler, hence the blue album cover.
Goblin is Tron Cat, Wolf Haley, and Ace taking over tylers thoughts.
