Cops were also something inexistent in this game except for events and missions you can replay. These are just some of the whole mess of things I’ve experienced playing the game. While it is decent on storyline everything else is just flawed. But I mean after all this was the game EA tried to milk the players more with. Considering the mechanics of this game. A damn shame, could have been a good game if weren’t for all that bs.

I mean, it's cinematic and flashy, but I remember how in Most Wanted from 2005 you weren't on a linear path to some set pieces and then just instantly losing the cops when you hit a certain point. It was all dynamic, the set pieces were there, but you could use them whenever you wanted and you had to have the skill to even get to them. They've sacrificed perfectly adequate gameplay for "cinematic" scripted stuff that all looks nice, but goes against the very idea of being a game.

6:09 is why I'm glad the police chases in this game are merely checkpoint races against time because those cops are almost worse than those in NFS Rivals and that makes them almost impossible to escape if the police chases were milestones like Most Wanted because those cops are too aggressive to escape.

Don't forget that Skyhammer is a kill switch, equipped on the Dodge Chargers which will target you and kill your engine if you don't get them off fast. They appear after this event. It's bad because not the engine gets shut down, your wheels lock, spinning you out and the start up takes some time. They appear as yellow arrows on the map and have a different symbol on top of their cars which turns red when trying to shut your engine off. Your vision gets distorted and your HUD gets distorted as well indicating a kill switch cop is trying to kill your engine. Damaging or creating distance from the kill switch cops stops them from killing your engine.
