HIGHLANDS, SCOTLAND | Eating at the world famous Three Chimneys restaurant and the best NC 500 cafe

- For our last few days in the highlands we venture over to the stunning Isle of Skye for some lunch at the renowned THREE CHIMNEYS restaurant.
Romana has a little accident whilst spotting deer, so we lay siege to the BEALACH CAFE for some well earned tea and cake.

Treated myself to a Panasonic LUMIX S5. Trying to work it out is another story.😂 getting there…thankfully lots of useful tutorials on n TH-cam.

So enjoyed this. Skye’s a very beautiful place even on a moody atmospheric day. The food at the Chimneys looked incredible and I loved the ceramic mermaid - really made me laugh 😂 Sorry you fell in that mucky bog Romana. I was in Galloway once and fell about 12 feet into a massive hole - didn’t even see it coming. For a minute I didn’t think I was going to get out and I was sinking too! Luckily I managed to grab some heather and pull myself up. Don’t know if I could do that now. Thanks again for sharing. Brilliant work. I took notes for my upcoming 6 weeks back in my Scotland. I will skip Three Chimneys and chose Loch Bay in Stein instead. The former Three Chimneys chef owns and is head chef at Loch Bay now
Wonderful food and not as extortionate in price. That said, your food looks lucious!
