Excellent, in a way this feels like the "modern" version of following those journey book scenarios you and Chris did all those years ago. Thoroughly fun to watch whilst sat painting some Khazad-Dûm dwarves, keep it up!
Thanks for the comment. Yes well remembered, I was half tempted to include a pic from one of those earlier games as a reference to him now... he's certainly got a lot bigger! ;) Thanks again :)
Big customer but never played a wargame (more into the ttrpg side of the mini hobby), but this was super fun to watch in the background while painting some elves. The trees might've been a tactical hindrance but what a great looking setup.
Great to see Scott still going - I regularly end up on his old blogspot taking a walk through history lane! Whatever became of those old English 28mms?
I played this amazing game from 2005 to 2011. I took part in dozens of local tournaments, several national tournaments in other cities and once abroad (socially in Germany). Those were the times when there were much fewer models and factions and heroes but the beauty of this game still remained despite hundreds of novelties, where not all accept. I played Moria, Mordor, Evil is a power greetings from Poland!
You can use might on multiple dices when wounding. so the troll would had been killed. Imo it was a super waste of might used by Faramir 4 the heroic accuracy...cause every archer had line of sight of something that wouldn´t needed on the way rolls.
Oh really! OK we'll have to check that again. Another thing we forgot with the initial Troll fight... it forgot its banner re-roll... oh well! Yes agreed.... I think I also should not have bothered with the Heroic challenge but used heroic strike instead on Shagrat in first round of combat, that could have made a difference. Thanks again for you comments... again we havent played LOTR for a while 'properly' so may have got a few things wrong. Cheers
Shagrat did not have the heavy armor bonus? otherwise Faramir would have wounded him on 6´s it´s only 5 points soooo totally worth to take. And Shagrat does not gain the extra attack only the knock down special rule. This is from the rule book "If a Cavalry model charges an Infantry model, they receive two special bonuses in the ensuing Fight: Extra Attack and Knock to the Ground." So Shagrat only has the Knock down rule not extra attack. ofc he gets extra 3 dices to wound if he has charged and wins the fight. But not 4 attacks in the duel roll. But anyway nice batrap! hope there will be more middle earth sbg on your channel!
U talked about shooting how it can be so "random kinda" and mentioned mabye re-roll 1s to hit. so with poison arrows u can re-roll to wound! Harad has poison arrows and Woses if i recall
Hi, thanks for the comment :) Yes I gave Shagrat the extra armour. Doesnt get the extra attack??? We didnt realise that, just thought he 'counts as cavalry' so got both. Thanks, we enjoyed doing this even though we havent played LOTR regularly for a while.... but keen to do more if people like it. Cheers
Ah this is soooooooo good!!!! Love the board.
Thanks Lachie, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah its been quite a bit of work , Cheers

Thank you kind Sir, we are getting some good feedback so will be bringing you more like this. Cheers
Enjoyed the whole thing. Humbling defeat.
Thank you for feedback and thoughts :)

Thank you for the kind feedback
This was very painful to watch but the models and the terrain were majestic and the players were gentlemen!
Thank you for your kind comment :)
LoTR is not really my thing, but that is a very nice looking table and your production qaulity is getting really really good.
Thank you for the comment, especially on a game that's not your preference... makes it all the more sweet. Cheers
@@kapitihobbies9360 You guys have done right by me on many occasions, helping you out with the algorythm is the least I can do.

Thank you. I still have them ! I'll be using them for Hail Caesar, once my playing group starts building medieval armies :)
Like it 👍🏻
Thanks for the visit
El clasico !
Thanks very much :)

If you fail a courage test can you still move the model just not charge?
Interesting, I'll have to double check that Cheers
Are you playing old rules ? I noticed the knights dont have a leader
Other thing is, -1 to your shoot value when moving and shooting (except using throwing weapons on the charge)
Thanks for the reminder!
