A friend of mine made a similar one of these, and it did work. He used a set of ignition points screwed to the side of a wood handle activated by a threaded rod and an eight sided nut. Rod was bent at the end into a crank handle. He used a 12v car battery and a 6v coil. The coil wire went over the front of the boat and hung about a foot below the water with a heavy bolt on the end. Negative wire from battery went out the back and dragged along the bottom using a heavy steel washer to stay in contact and not hang up on rocks. It didn't kill the fish, just sorta put them to sleep. As the handle was cranked you could see fish slowly floating to the top. We had to use a net large enough that they could be scooped up without touching them first otherwise they "woke up" and swam off immediately. It worked better in moving water better for some reason. Oh, and if someone lifts the front wire out of the water while youre turning the handle, you get shocked. I know that all too well
Your whole technique was good but when you lit a 220 volt bulb with it, it should have lit the bulb because you are giving it 20 to 25 thousand volts so how is it possible that the bulb lit up? ا At such a high voltage the bulb should have burned out
A better way is you get some gunpowder, a fuse, a real thick paper tube and some epoxy. Once you get that part done you get a rock, some tape and a lighter 😁 you will have fish and they won't swim away when you touch them 😉

Big fine, take your truck, boat, ect ect.

@@steffybael1245 theoretically anyone can use the device as long as you don’t get caught. If one has a fiberglass boat they really don’t care about drill two small holes in the hull and attach a pair of stainless steel screws with the heads outside, add a bit if sealant that will work with the fiberglass and tighten the nuts inside the hull. Hopefully you used a long enough screw so you can add a second nut on the inside to fasten the wire to. After attaching the high voltage wires to the screws insulate the whole area with a high voltage silicone. Now no one knows what’s up.
