I'm not young at all, but AM going to missions, but far from feeling conforted, I felt utterly rebuked and Challenged.
I would love nothing more than to go spread the gospel in the Middle East at Afghanistan Iraq maybe even Iran

I am also struggling with this thought in my head that I think God calls me to be a missionary but I don't give much time to entertain this thought and being fed up by everything about missions. But at this time of my life, I just want to be involved in the church and have a ministry where I can grow especially in handling a ministry and to grow also in the aspect of leadership and servanthood.
Please pray for me that God would reveal to me what he has for me and His calling for my life. And also for open doors to be equipped more of handling the Word, in Prayer and in service.

Ive been thru alot in my life and i found God within me.I wanted to be a missionary and share God's word.
Yeah I've even considered contacting you guys as well for information about embarking on cross-cultural missions from my local church--there are very few resources to reach out to for this kind of instruction/information. Thankful for HeartCry.

As a student I read a book about intercultural reading of the bible. 2 groups of Christians in different parts of the world would read a chapter of the bible and exchange their thoughts. The Nicaraguans surprised their Dutch peers with their knowledge. The Dutch shocked the Nicaraguans with the fact that their pastor was a lesbian woman. Sometimes we need to ask ourselves where "the field" is.
Brother Paul, apart from your videos that I watch and following your ministry, I want to thank you for all the material you have blessed us with. I'm particularly thankful that I can buy your workbooks on Amazon for a low price. They are such a blessing apart from my regular bible study. WOW!!! This is 100 percent correct. I feel this strong calling to be a missionary. I heard long ago Rick Warren say "it doesn't matter if you read the whole Bible or not go out there and do missionary work. Well I knew in my heart of hearts I don't know the Bible that well. I've read it twice now going on the third time, it's not enough. I need much more knowledge of the scripture. Well this video answered my question. I went to college and graduated with a BS in Christian Ministry. I am not in ministry, it is the best thing for me. More importantly, it is a great thing for the church. Ego must yield itself to the cross. If I were in a pulpit the focus would be on me or men and NOT Christ.

Thank you sir Paul for this encouraging yet challenging message. I am a grade school teacher and I aspire to be a pastor as well because I think the Lord has called me to be. I just think I have to be more mature as a person and as a Christian studying the Bible. I don't have formal schooling in any Bible school yet but I am planning to pursue one once I'm done with my current master's degree. I pray that God will lead me to eventually becoming a preacher once I'm ready and I pray that I will always put Jesus at the center of everything that I will preach someday.

Start at home. All ministry, whether evangelism or otherwise, must start at home, among your family, friends and community. I spent many years street witnessing in the roughest parts of town, but I only advanced to that after I shared the gospel with everyone around me, including co-workers and walked the walk. Hi brother thank you for this. Do you have resources on women missionaries? It is clear that a missionary needs to be elder qualified and plant a church. Does a woman then could be considered a missionary or just an evangelist that would be part of a church planting team?

Yo no soy tan joven pero me gustaría algún día ir a algún lugar muy remoto donde casi nadie quiere ir como misionera, eso me gustaría hacer en unos 8 años , mientras tanto quiero saber más de la Biblia para poder transmitir la y también me gustaría saber cómo podrían aprender a hablar en público o a evangelizar correctamente, pues ya lo he intentado en algunas áreas serca de mi casa o a veces en la calla he encontrado personas qué muestran una gran necesidad De Dios y he aprovechado para hablarles de Cristo, pero creo me falta mucho para hacerlo como es debido. Me gustaría ir a algún lugar donde se estudie la Biblia muy rigurosa menté para poder entenderla . A mi me gusta mucho la doctrina De la Iglesia Bautista , pero donde yo voy es una iglesia Pentecostal, y no hay estudios Bíblicos profundos , a la verdad yo no estoy muy satisfecha en la manera en que ahí a veces predican y de como le dan tanta importancia a lo financiero, he pensado en cambiar de iglesia, pero me he encontrado con otras peores.

Hola, por mientras te puedo decir un resumen... el cual es posible no este completo.
Paul hablo sobre los jóvenes que quieren trabajar en misiones (globales)... que aunque esten pasando muchas cosas en USA y hay personas que están llamadas a enfocarse en eso, él no se puede desviar de las misiones internacionales porque tambien es importante enfocarse en eso.
Así que dijo que muchos jóvenes le han hablado a través de los años sobre su interés en participar en misiones.
y que el término de "misión" ha sido distorsionado para ser otra cosa.
Que una "misíon" es plantar una iglesia y que para eso se necesita a un creyente maduro, tanto en conocimiento de la Biblia, cómo en carácter (conocer a Dios mediante la Palabra, la oración y practicar lo que conoce).
Puso el ejemplo de Ezra cuya vida estaba dedicada a estudiar la Ley de Dios a practicarla y a enseñarla.
Mencionó la historia de un chico en Perú que quería ser misionero, que quería dar su vida y Paul le preguntó cómo era su conocimiento de la Biblia y el respondió que ahí, no tanto y que cómo es su vida de oración para interceder y el muchacho le respondió que no tan buena, y Paul le dijo al muchacho, nadie necesita tu vida... necesitan a Dios... que un misonero debe dar el mensaje de Dios y que al darlo debe ser con un corazón tembloroso y labios temblorosos y que una cosa que siempre piden para el ministerio de "Heartcry" es que aumente su temor a Dios.
Piden tambien para los misioneros que cada vez que enseñen sea la verdad y no halla injusticia en sus labios.
Dice que una de las mayores dificultades de ser maestro es no hacer lo que se enseña y que por cada palabra que digas serád juzgado.
Una de las cosas que dijo al inició sobre el conocimiento de Dios y que el significado de "misiones" se había difuminado era que al ir afuera del país debías estar seguro de cómo se presentó Dios en el Nuevo Testamento, por medio del Padre, del Espíritu Santo y del Hijo, que en Estados Unidos (USA) hay sincretismo (no hay creencia fija, todo es verdadero) y que se debia tener la osadía de proclamar esa verdad, que solo hay una manera para llegar a Dios, no varias.
Finalmente cada persona que escojen para sus misiones está calificada para ser un anciano de la iglesia.
Que para hacer misiones tienes que saber cómo es una iglesia, cómo es su disciplina (es decir cómo formar una).
y que su consejo es ser parte de una iglesia donde enseñan la biblia, que no aprenderemos solo viendo pastores en youtube o llendo a una mega iglesia con entretenimiento y extravaganzas... buscar una iglesia con un pastor que si le dice que si te sientes llamado a las misiones te analice y te preparé para ello, que se lo tome en serio y te enseñe.
Una iglesia en donde seas exhortado y corregido.

This had me laughing because I still don't know: "young man, what is propitiation?" It is somewhere along the lines of, or exactly atonement- but it is a very difficult old English word to grasp.
The dictionary meaning is appeasement or satisfaction. Idk what other translations say, but in the NASB’s Ezekiel 5:13 it uses these words precisely, but His wrath was being appeased on Israel. In the case of a believer, the wrath was satisfied or appease on Christ, so that, in the words of Flavel, He has no “after-reckonings” with us! What a glorious truth!!
Why do missionaries have to be elder qualified if maybe our greatest example of a missionary in the Bible, the Apostle Paul was not married? Thank you so much!
Elder qualifications don't mandate marriage, but instead mandate perfect monogamy IF you are married or going to be. It's about adultery, not that you must find a woman before you can become an elder.
What Westin said, he was elder qualified. In fact, he was sent out with prayer and the laying on of hands of the elders at Antioch.

@@zanel8290 It is - but since we know Paul was single, it is obviously not mandated that a missionary be married. In fact, Paul himself recommended that such ministers remain single as long as it woud not cause them to sin.

With this description:
"Paul Washer and Heartcry Missionary Society are in formal partnership with Martin Bucer Seminary whose president is pope-loving ecumenist, Thomas Schirrmacher.
Schirrmacher is very close to the Pope to the extent it seems he is a fellow Jesuit himself. Heartcry sponsors and partners with Martin Bucer Seminary and has done so since late 2013.
People in the "discernment" realm such as Pulpit and Pen, Justin Peters, No Compromise Radio and others have deliberately refused to comment on this information while they have been apprised of it. This level of cowardice and fraudulence is unacceptable. Paul Washer and Anthony Mathenia are two of five HeartCry board members who have sanctioned this partnership.
Apostasy is afoot and it seems none are exempt from compromise."
If this is true, then P. Washer and Heartcry Missionary Society should explain because this is disturbing. How could this happen? Unity at the expense of TRUTH? Who's rebuking the rebukers? Who's discerning the discerners? No one's talking about this. Please clarify this. It's heart breaking.
