Game music is frequently taken for granted by players. I'm someone whose experience is heavily influenced by music. This piece fully immersed me im the game. The mechanic of having the music intensify with more instruments as you rise through the islands was magical; it gave me goosebumps. When the gameplay, art style, and soundtrack work together to give intense feelings of suspense, thrill, and fear, you've got a damn good game.
I love that you blend the phases as if i was playing the game... I swear they went too hard on the wind temple. The slow eerie music that builds up the higher you climb which then get super chaotic when you are jumping on the ships. And when you jump over the storm it gets so calm. Then you skydive into the temple with a lovely blend of the temple music and the regular skydiving theme They went WAYYYY too hard
I love it. And the Wind Temple was my first temple when I was still in shock at how immaculate this game was. But to experience this level of suspense while awaiting to see what TotK's dungeons and bosses had to offer this time.
It makes me all the more glad I decided to save the wind temple for last. I went Gerudo, Goron, Zora, and Rito. I wanted to meet up with each of the troubles before deciding which one to move forward with, and well, when I met the Gerudo one last and it threw me immediately into the wolves with Riju… if felt like the most “immediate” threat I had to deal with. But having saved the Wind Temple for last, man the climb felt all the greater.

They should have added a build up when climbing death mountain with Yunobo and then when jumping into death mountain it becomes dramatic. When Link and Sidon swim up the waterfall it should have music playing which picks up as they’re going. When Link and Riju explore the halls of the Lighting Temple before finding the main room music should play and become more dramatic with a desert spin to it. When Link goes across dragon head isles the music should have picked up or changed the closer you got to the mask. Every problem across Hyrule should have had music like this.

This was basically my absolute favorite part of the game, and probably one of my favorite moments in any Zelda game. The pacing, the soundtrack, the absolute hype of the approach until you finally reach the payoff, absolutely amazing.
So far this has been my favourite temple, and I've completed them all except for the Gerudo one, which I'm nearly to. I just have to find the red pillars. This music wrapped around my ears and truly immersed me in the game. I had chills the entire time, and couldn't help but cry a little at just how beautiful it was. This was the temple that truly took my breath away.
this theme was ngl kinda scary. being so cold nothing could really help you. you’re up in the sky, can barely see, with the “cold” theme mixed into it. which captured the mystery and importance of the mission
This was the first temple i did and thought the ascent was incredible. Honestly one of the best pieces of any video game in my opinion. I was devastated to find out none of the other temples were like this in any way. There's just something so awe inspiring about climbing up island columns going up into the sky, barely hanging onto the thing that is keeping you from falling from high above. Especially that you're going up into an enormous storm.
one of the greatest experiences ive had with a game in recent memory was this ascent, and the final dive toward the temple was my reward. It was truly a cinematic experience, the music held just as much weight as the visuals here. Those harsh windy strings giving way to a triumphant, determined finale with a wailing chorus that felt truly heavenly. The theme of the final dive stayed in my head for weeks after I'd experienced it.
This piece of music is utterly stunning. I can't even begin to explain how fantastic it is. I've never wanted to make analysis videos, but I think this one may be my first.
when the strings and the haunting kind of wailing sounds with the momentous bass/percussive section all sweep in when link glides in the eye of the storm to the wind temple is so perfect and chilling.
My gripe with this game is that this whole section (which the game inclines you to play first) is essentially (aside from the ending) the game's highest point in most of its regards and nothing else quite reaches it. You get a deeply blue-balling feel for the rest of the journey. Still a fantastic game but man if we only had the entirety of the game full of sequences like this. Just so profoundly cinematic in all levels of execution.
Came to this game later than most, but having just finished this sequence in the game I must say it was one of the most immersive experiences I’ve had with a video game eve, and the music was a major part of that.
